Talking to other girls besides my girlfriend
 

I seem to have a hard time talking to other girls besides my girlfriend. I thought about this a lot and I've come to the conclusion that a) I'm either really shy b) I see them as temptations i.e. potential sex c) Hard to find interesting girls.

So what can I do?

personally, I view most girls (when I have a gf) just as other people...

if it's c) it's prolly just a local thing... sometimes girls are more commonly brought up on things that are completely opposite of what you would be interested in.

b)... honestly the only way you should be seeing them as sexual temptations is if the ladies are dressing/acting really slutty... I avoid those girls anyways (IMO everyone should too because they normally lead to no good)

I find it easier to talk to other women when I have a girlfriend (or in my case wife). I'm not so focused on looking stupid when there is really nothing to lose. I have come to a conclusion through this that I was a fool to ever take seriously any rejection/good things that happened to me in bars. As guys, we are always so busy trying to create an image that we just forget to talk. Some women are looking for that image (in the bar scene) while others just want to get to know the person. Being free and easy with conversation is an easy way to determine that (particuarly when you have no pressure on you).

a) practice makes perfect
b) women aren't just pieces of meat!
c) try looking in a different place

I find it a lot easier because, if nothing else, I don't have to worry about impressing the hell out of them to get them in bed, just enough to be friends, which is much easier. lol That and I have NO intentions of being anything more than friend to them so I can just be loose and cool.

I felt the same way and it was becuase I was really shy, I didn't want to cheat and therefore I didn't engage women when I didn't have to.

Gawd you should see the girls around here.. Teenage girls are even worst.

As hard as it is, if you just treat girls as guys when you're talking to them, then it makes the situation a whole lot easier. We're all people, one species.

as for the teenage girl thingy, aside from them acting and stuff, some 13 and 14 year olds look so much older! ... ahhh i probably shouldn't of mentioned that.

I always feel bad, like I'm cheating if I talk to another hot girl. I don't know why.

Talking is not cheating. That being said, you should view women as people and not opportunities(real or imagined) and you will be able to talk to any you meet. Conversation without agenda is soooo cool and I can talk to anyone. Just have fun and relax.

I'm gonna have to go with choice B.

Men are supposed to be spreading their seed. Why would we want to stay with one person for ever.
