Ok, I'm in college, so of course, I have room-mates. I, like everyone else, have those times where I need to fap. Any suggestions on when's the best time? You never know when one of them is going to be home or come home or not... Seems kinda wierd if someone else is in the house.

At least it's not as bad as beeing in the dorms though! I have a door! Whoo hoo!

buy some porn magazines and take em to the bathroom....I lucked out last year cuz my roomate and I both loved porn and openly talked about masturbating so it was easy for both of us.

usually a good time is either in the morning or at night......or when you know they have class do it then

I had a friend that was in the same situation, he said he resorted to doing it in the shower with soap. not sure how that'd work as a lube, but if that's what it takes.

Or better yet get your own room in an apartment... always a much better deal then on campus housing.

What's gross about doing it in the shower? It's one of the most ideal places to do it because you can muffle groans, stay moist, and wash off afterwards. Just make sure you clean the tub of any incriminating evidence when you're done. :)

wait... so you have your own room or no? if you do, then i'm missing the problem, if not, bathroom is a good place. or just wait till they're asleep. i talked with my freshman year roommate a couple months ago about this, and we think it's possible that we may have beat off at the same time in the room while thinking the other was asleep (bunk beds, couldnt' see each other).

The shower is a great place. Private, and all the mess goes away magically.

The shower works great for the reasons mentioned by collide. Easy cleaning and low sound are great.

Semen turns into a sticky mess when mixed with hot water, hard to wash off even in a shower.

You can both write down each other's schedules. For one thing, it is just useful to know, but also, you can masturbate, or if you are lucky enough, have sex, with confidence that the other person won't walk in (assuming they go to their classes.)

I know people who successfully used the red sign on the door means 'do not enter' technique to communicate with their roommie.

Or if your like me shock will make sure you have NO sex drive until you have a girlfriend ;)

mine quite blatantly wrote "don't come in" on the door "we're busy" or something to that effect... aah sexile... ;)

if you've got your own room, who gives a shit when you wank, though.. close the door and keep it down, you can be assured your roommate does the same!

I was living in the dorms with a conservative Christian roomate.

we both had loft beds, and one night I just HAD to relieve tension. Both our lofts are at the same level, but I was pretty sure he was asleep.

So, I working it, all the while keeping an eye on him to ensure he stays asleep. I am real quiet. Suddenly, he sits bolt upright in his loft, out of a dead sleep. I wasn't making a sound or shaking the bed or anything. he is facing me, but says nothing.

I am frozen with a death grip on my dick, I don't even want to breathe. I remember that this guy wears coke bottle size eye glasses, and since it was so dark, there was probably no wayhe could have seen me. After a minute or so, he just lays back and goes back to sleep.

Since I had such a tight grip on my dick when I froze, I was still hard, so I finished up and went to sleep.


That was as close as I ever came to getting caught by a roomate.

Of course when I shared a room in college (centuries ago) I'd be sneaking my girlfriend in at odd hours. Was in bed with her once, actually inside her (from behind, but under the covers) as my roommate walked in, said hi, grabbed something and wandered out again. Strangely this did not worry my girlfriend at all.

Maybe 10-15 years ago walking in on a roomie doing something sexual was a big worry, but college campuses are very different places now. Most people just laugh stuff like this off, and a male who denies that he masturbates might as well deny that he breathes.

Chalk it up to experience if something happens, but I really don't see it being an issue with today's sexually enlightened college population.

Ugh. Stay out of the damn shower. That's where you wash your body, not walk around in other people's spooge.

Only if you clean the shower afterward. Thoroughly. A mate of mine got tired enough of a flatmate's shortcomings in this area he had to have a very embarrassing chat about where it was OK to leave the love juice.

Just don't do it in your bed while your room-mate is "sleeping". I've had that done to me a couple times, and it's not very pleasant.. squeek, squeek, squeek....

All about the bathrooms, or when they're at class..

I walked in to the apartment once just in time to hear his bedroom door slamming and there was porno on the TV hehe. I didn't care though because I had jerked off in the living room myself sometimes. We had our own rooms, but only 1 TV so any video tapes we got could only be watched in the living room. The worst though, was coming home from work to find an open jar of Vaseline next to my playboy collection in my room. I just yelled "What the Fuck?" and flung the jar out into the living room where my roommate was watching TV and slammed the door. We never talked about it but I"m sure he was embarassed. DON'T jerk off in your roomate's room if you have separate ones. That's just plain rude.

The 2 beds in 1 room deal sucks, especially if your bed has squeeky springs. A roommate that snores is very nice for this purpose. Doing it in the bathroom or the shower is preferable, but not particularly comfortable. As others have said, chances are your roommate has the same problem, and will be fairly understanding as long as you're not totally out of control :).

In my dorm room, we had a one-bed loft that I slept in, and my roomate (same guy for four years!) was on the ground floor. Many was the night lurkette would sneak in and we'd fuck over my roomate. ;)

As far as we knew, we always got away with it. He was a real sound sleeper... or maybe just more tactful than us.

shower and soap are a great combo. i dont see how you could think otherwise, unless you have those soaps with the little grains or whatever hard things in them

i had my roomie in the dorms walk in on me. he was supposed to be going to work but forgot something and came back for it. From then on we had a little symbol that we put on our door so that we would know to when we could come in.

I agree with the shower and soap its the only private place on earth
