There used to be a really good site run by a woman named Xandria, which had all kinds of BDSM dos and don'ts...haven't seen it in a while. In any event, one thing she stressed that was very important was that your rope should not be made of any kind of stretchy material, because the knots can become tighter if the person tied down struggles against them and effectively cut off circulation.

Old neckties work especially well.

well instructions on body knots are interesting but dont feel so tied down (ouch , i didnt mean for it to be a pun) anyway, you should feel liberal with it and dont just stick to the book, let your imagination take over and you will have lots of fun

This is nearly my fav. I love bound sex, it is the helpless feeling. So many guys confuse bound sex with bdsm. I know in alot of ways it is getting closer to the line but there is still a clear difference. Rope is great it is important to have the right type or you will really injure the wrist, ankle, etc. One better thing to use is dear or elk skin, cut into strips. It is softer and does have another advantage. if used wet while it dries it shrinks and tightens.

But it is the helplessness that is (atleast for me) sooo arrousing.

ALWAYS important to have a code both you and your partner know as to When to STOP! Could be as simple as saying the word Blue or a certain nodd(if they are gagged). Very importatn...or else you might hurt or truly freak them out if they find out theyre not intrested in they play anymore.Ive never experjenced it personally but heard horror stories of plays gone wrong. I've never employed rope bondage in sex, but I have a friend that wants to go pro with his rope works. He did a huge photoshoot of me in nothing but lots of rope. He's very talented. Eventually he wants to start a paysite with all his rope photography, and I'll be on it. Let you guys know when its up.

One thing that seems to work for some simple stuff like spreadeagle on the bed or stuff is Satin Ribbon. Not the stiff kind and it has to be wide. Wide Red satin ribbon - and the look is so erotic.

Usually it is just a matter of tieing the wrists together and hooking them to the headboard...

I have very little experience with actual tieing up, but I have played with blind folds and really enjoy both giving and recieving. the sensation of touch is greatly increased when you cant see.
