Does sex make you hungry?
 

Just wondering, because I seem to eat like a wolf a while after having sex. Can't run up to the fridge the second I slide out, but you know what I mean...

Well think about it - unless someone is having sex with you while you are drugged and unconcious (godwilling that isn't the case) then you are getting a pretty good workout. You need food to replenish your energy. Just don't be like George Costanza and be sneaking in salami sandwiches into the bed.

I've always noticed myself a tad hungry post coitus, but it's usually nothing that couldn't wait until morning. On those occassions where I had enough continuous sex to be famished, I was probably more than a little bit distracted by the activities at hand.

though, I have heard of a connection between sexual appetite and hunger... apparently, if it seems like you're hungry but you're a little confused as to what you want, you're actually horny.

I wouldn't be surprised if this were true. I seem to have an equally ravenous appetite when it comes to both activities. If I don't eat prior to a good "work out", I usually get pretty damn hungry afterwards, so it makes sense.

More thirsty than hungry, for me. I usually crave a glass of milk. Read into that what you will.

Usually I am too hot and exhausted to eat right away. But after a half hour or so the hunger usually kicks in, if I am still awake.

Heh, yeah, it's either food or sleep for me.

I'm not usually hungry after sex (unless I was already hungry prior to sex). If I ejaculate, I get an immediate craving for liquids, usually water or juice.

I always have a need for a caffeinated coke afterwards. It is something about needing immediate sugar I think.

I always drop a bottle of water right afterwards... then head to the fridge a little later. Sex does burn up a lot of energy!

Definitely hungry and thristy, but too tired to get up -- so sleep and wait until morning or after the "nap" to eat.

Very thirsty, sometimes tired. Never hungry though unless I was hungry to begin with.

Amazingly, no. Unless we sit around afterward. Then, only occasionally, I do get a little munchie attack.

hungry-well it takes energy to eat and I usually don't want to move after sex... esp. if it was good sex.

I get hungry as all hell after sex. I can fill my stomach to capacity and not be satisfied. It's weird, but I kinda like it.

Well, obviously because I am doing some 'exercize' I need something to eat/drink after a nice long session.

I get thirsty, very, very thirsty. The poll should be changed to see how many people get thirsty rather than hungry.

Actually my best sex is in the morning, followed by breakfast!

I love weekends because we do it at six (our body clocks don't know it's a weekend). Then we go back to sleep, go at it again before we get up, then have a HUGE breakfast.:p

At night, I'll get up and get water after sex. My sweetie is a gusher and gets thirstier than me.

Although its been so long since I've had sex that I'm pretty sure they've changed it....yeah, I'm always thirsty and usually hungry after a good session in the sack.

I like doing it in the late afternoon then getting dressed and going to dinner. Good times.

Hmmm I have to say sometimes I've noticed being a lil hungry afterwards... and I almost always need a drink. (But for the most part I'm not really thinkin bout that... I kinda just like it when we can lay together afterwards and It would be ideal if we could just fall asleep next to one another.)

if i'm really hungry like in the morning, sex seems to make it go away
sometimes i get a drink of water, partly of thrist, partially of leaving my mouth open that long panting :-)
