I'm a healthy horny guy, but I've gotten to the point where I am sick and tired of looking at girls' underwear. This thong peepshow that's spread like wildfire just makes me think girls look really trashy. I feel like I might be in the minority here, but does anybody else feel like this too? And what is the deal with the lower back tattoo epidemic? Is it a standard graduation requirement for a girl to get one of these to graduate high school? It just seems that everyone of these chicks that are sporting the underwear like outerwear has a tat... I'm just waiting for it to become en vouge to not have tattoos, then i'm going into the tattoo laser removal field and just make killing. Somebody validate me PLEASE!

And the tattoo thing annoys me too. It's either a butterfly, or some kanji that says "princess" or some shit on it. That's annoying, and very unnatractive to me. If it means something then by all means go ahead, but why on earth do you need a damn butterfly tattood on your back??? I guess I missed that memo.

Consider yourself validated. I use to think that it was just as bad as being able to see someone's buttcrack -- neither of which are very flattering at all. Probably among the worst bod mod to make is getting a trendy tatoo that you'll likely regret later.

The reason many people get tattooed on the lower back is because it is one of the few places on the body that is unlikely to change so much that it would affect/warp the appearance of the tattoo. Unless you gain or lose an ungodly amount of weight around, have surgery on, or get into an accident where it scrapes up your lower back not much is going to change. Even pregnancy doesn't really affect the lower back.

And for the record, even people with tattoos (most of my friends have tats) think it's annoying when h.s. girls get tattoos of butterflies and cliche items. What's worse are the people who get a tattoo about the size of a fingernail somewhere no one would ever see it and boast about how they have a tat.

As for thongs, they are useful for dressier clothing. Part of their purpose is to hide typical underwear lines. Having your thong show is the equivalent to having your bra strap show. Even if the exposed thong (or bra strap) is intentional, I hardly believe that makes them trashy or whorish. They just lack a sense of taste and class.

Well...just wait. The new thing this year is supposed to be....butt crack. Yes you heard me right. Those low rise jeans are supposed to drop lower..to a point where a barbel on a pierced hood would see the sunlight.

I was at the mall yesterday, and I don't remember seeing any girls who were in great shape but not in low-rider jeans with thongs. They all were wearing the stuff, even the 13-year-olds! I even saw some 16-year-old chick in a halter top and low-rider Daisy Duke's walking with her mom, who didn't seem to care. Society is going downhill faster than ever before in my opinion, but it sure looks good doing it....

it still disturbs me to find thongs in XXL sizes.... as for the tattoo, i i agree with the idea that it seems to be the 'cool' thing to do to get a butterfly or winnie the pooh tattooed on the least painful area of your body. i cant really say too much though... i got a pink floyd symbol my senior year. (hey at least it wasnt a fucking butterfly) always remember... underwear is called just that for a reason.

Man oh man do I hate the tats. They only work on some girls (very rarely) and in only a few spots (ankle or lower back).

Thongs="Those women"? Now? Sorry to say, but thongs are common place. And pleanty of women who wear them keep it in, although too many let it hang out. It is unattractive in the most extreme sense of the word.

Some of the people I know with tatoos regret the choice they made now that they're older. It seems like a "cool" thing to do when you're in your 20's, but then when you grow older, it's still there.

Guess I'm the minority who actually likes the tat on the lower back - however; it should have meaning to you, not one of those 'fad' tattoos that everyone seems to be sporting. As for the thong issue, I agree that it's gone over the edge these past years with young teens showing off what they're wearing.

That being said, I think they shouldn't be worn all the time. When I see girls at school dressed like that, it makes them look slutty. But if they dress like that at a party or something, then there's no problem!

As for tattoos, I really don't have a problem with them. I think they can be quite cute. Trendy, but still cute..

There is an old agage that less is more. I don't think that applies in this case. Tattoos just don't do it for me. In fact, it would make me much less likely to approach someone if I knew about it ahead of time. Seeing thongs is tempting, but it makes you focus on one aspect of that person rather than the whole person. I'm a big believer in the mind is the ultimate erogenous zone. Someone has to be able to turn me on with their personality for me to like them long-term.

I think I'm pretty much echoing many here but, you can't go wrong with the thong. (as long as it's not being stretched to the limits).

Low rise jeans - as long as there isn't a lot of "baby fat" hanging over.

Tattoos - you'll regret it someday. Every girl that gets a tattoo (like a group of dolphins around the navel) will someday wish they hadn't.

I like the exposed thong on the right person and in the right enviorment: club scene = good, church = bad. A bit extreme on the examples but you get the point. I also like tats if it has a personal meaning to the individual who wears it, for women it has to be in the right place too. I have two tats on either shoulder, a place where it can be shown off or hidden from site as I please.

I have nothing against thongs, not my fave undies, but useful at times. I do have a hell of a lot against the trendy typical high school girls who all look the same: bleached blonde hair, low-rise "just enough to cover the pubes" jeans, lower back tat of something ridiculously trendy with no meaning whatsoever, thongs and g-strings sticking out for all the world to see, and most especially the rolls of fat hanging above all this. One thing for you tat haters: Alyssa Milano. And on Tats only some places look good. Ankles, high shoulder, inner hip are all okay spots in my book. The most henious place for a tat has to be the navel though, no matter what you get of what color you get it looks like some kinda hairy patch.

I have 2 tats on either side of the small of my back, both mean a lot to me but they look like lick-and-stick tattoos. Its a sun and a moon.. very very cheesey eh? IMO, I love low rider jeans on chicks that have a skinny waste line and that actually look good in them. I'm sorry, but over-weight girls should not be allowed to wear low rider jeans. It doesn't look good. As for thongs, I like to see a nice thong through a tight pair of white pants, but when they're hanging out of the top of low rider jeans, not a sight I like to see...it doesn't do it for me. The butt crack is definitely cool, though.

However, I have seen plenty of women whose appearance was improved (IMHO) by a nice pair of low rider jeans. They have to have the body to pull it off, though. Visible thongs don't do a thing for me, unless that's all she's wearing.

Thongs are cool, and I have no preference on tats... if its small and has meaning of some sort, then go for it.
What does disturb me is the fact of how young some of these people are who show off the damn thing. I just had this discussion with my 14 year old cousin who wants a tat after she gets her pierceing. I made her promise to not get one at a tat party and to think up something meaningfull to her and doodle out some ideas so that she and the artist can work on an original design. Since I only have to take off my shirt to show her the difference between good and bad work I think it may have sunk in

tats are supposed to mean something. in any situation where you get a tattoo, it should mean something to you, specifically, and therefore anything that's "popular" can't possibly mean anything to you specifically. if i see a girl with that lower-back tat, they have to come up with a VERY good explanation or not ONLY do i NOT care about them, but i'm going to chew them out for being a bandwagon bitch, a typical cookie-cutter suburban hoe. I've been thinking about getting a tattoo for over 20 years now - but I have yet to see a design that I might want to still see on my body in another 30 years or so.

Thanks to the extremely good weather this summer I know about the preferred colors of underwear of a few hundred women in my city. ( A thing I never wanted to know about most of them I can assure you)
What I really don't get is the way they react sometimes.
One of my students wore a thong and let it show on purpose. She did a tomato and was pissed for a week when I made a joke about the mismatch of colors. Almost every second week I get comments about my choice of clothes and that's supposed to be okay.

Does your attitude apply to women who dress frumpy because they hate that kind of treatment and still get catcalls? It was their choice to dress down, but they still got catcalls. Is it their fault that some guy made them feel uncomfortable because he whistled? Their responsibility that some men don't choose to control themselves or exercise tact? You can't put all the blame (a.k.a. responsibility) on women for men's actions. In the case of skimpy dressing and catcalling, you have to admit the blame/responsibility is equal. 50% because of the way a female chose to dress and 50% because the man lacks tact and dignity.

Saying women who wear thongs that show are responsible for men's catcalling is like saying women who get raped are responsible for it because they provoked the rapist. It's not the woman's choice that a rapist prefers to rape women who go to gyms. It's not the woman's choice that a rapist prefers to rape women who stay at home, either. Even if a woman staying home is what provoked the rapist, you have to admit it wasn't her fault for that happening. There are plenty of things women do that rapists target in on. Rapists are like wildcards, what they look for in victims is completely nonstandard and unpredictable.

I like tattoo's that have a personal meaning for the girl. I can't stand when a girl (or anyone for that matter) gets a tattoo just because it's trendy. If you want one so bad, put some damned thought behind it! And not just your current favorite band or something... It should be an extension of who you are. I really like finding out the story behind a tattoo on a girl, as long as that story doesn't simply consist of "I like flowers".
