Hi All,

I was ondering if someone could give me advice on what I should be looking for in my first anal sex toy. Ideally I would like a plug I can leave in for a while, or should I be building up to that first?

Any advice / reviews or what not greatly appreciated.

definitely start off small. i few more small and obvious bits of advice...

1. get something with a flared base so you dont lose it.
2. use plenty of lube.
3. go real slow the first few times. even something small can take some time getting accustomed to.
4. enjoy yourself.

specifically, i'd say look for a plug that can stay in for some time to help you relax and get somethign with vibrations. the last is just a little something to enjoy.

Thanks for the replies, I'm currently considering the Spectragels Anal Plug which seems to be relatively small (1" x 4"). Is there any problems starting off with this due to the curve, or should I be considering something a little straighter.

WIth regards to lube, I take it application should be on both the plug and anus and as already mentioned in plentiful supply.

I'm not quite sure if you're a guy or a girl, but when you're using anal sex toys make sure you don't take them out of the butt and put them into the vagina. You can get some pretty nasty infections by doing so.

It's been said before, but I'll say it again...

A flared base is very important. The anus, unlike the vagina, does not have a limited length (per se), if you know what I mean.

If you're not careful, you can "lose" stuff up there.

So either use dildos that you can hold onto, of if you want to leave it in there for some DP action (LOTS of fun!), then ensure you have a butt-plug with a flared base.

txd: everyone i've EVER heard has said you can't have too much lube. (imagines sitting in a kiddy pool full of lube..." is this enough?" As you push it in with your hand, press out against it with your internal muscles, as if you were trying to expel it. That helps open you up more.

Also, park it at the begining for a while until you get used to it.

If you can't boil it you should use a condom to keep it clean.
