My first kiss with my first girlfriend was pretty short and awkward, which is odd, because the 9 month long relationship seemed to be focused mostly around making out. We decided over the summer that a long distance relationship (i was going to college) would be too hard and not worth it, but I saw her right up to my last night. I hadn't been that enthuisiastic with the relationship, so i decided I would put off dating at college, be a single guy for the first time in 9 months, meet people, have fun, etc. Anyway, I get to college the first day, the next day I meet this awesome and attractive girl who I hit it off with. Tuesday night (I arrived on a saturday) we were watching a movie (fellowship of the ring i think) on my bed with on odd assortment of weirdos (it was the first few days of college, you meet a lot of weirdos.) But I was sitting real close to this girl. When the movie finally ended and the weirdos left, we were just laying there, and then very mutually began to slowly caress each other and then started slowly kissing, just real lightly, kept kissing, until we were completely all over each other. Wow. I think we kissed for 20 minutes straight. In the whole 9 months prior of making out, nothing like this. It was absolutely breathtaking. I am still going out with her now (it will have been a year in september) and I absolutely love her. So maybe a first kiss is an omen of the relationship...

My first kiss unfortunately was terrible and meant absolutely nothing to me... But my first kiss with my current b/f was amazing... it was like a movie scene actually. We were at the beach standing on the rocks right by the water and it was just about sunset. When I kissed him I knew that we were right for each other and it felt like magic =)

Frosstbyte 09-05-2003 10:03 PM

Wow, ok, getting into this really late. Anyway, my first kiss of any significance was my sophomore year of high school at the airport after a trip to Washington D.C. I asked her out just before I left and then kissed her right when I got back.

The first time we *really* kissed was back at my house a few days later. I went to go drop something in my room and she met me halfway back down the stairs and just kissed me full on. It was pretty surprising, which only enhanced the experience for me.

bundy 09-05-2003 11:24 PM

i remember my first pash.
iŽll not mention her name. but she was great. she was a sexy older woman (not by much) and i was an innocent school boy.
pity i treated her like shit afterwards though.

That Perfect First Kiss

Everyone wishes to make their first kiss with their significant other, something of a memory. Something you can write in a journal, tell to your friends, and if you were planning marriage and children, your kids. It is that moment that you hope says to everyone that you were meant to be. So, with your current lover, how was that first kiss? where was it? Was it memorable enough that you can give details on the number of stars, the color of the floor tiles or for that matter, what movie you were watching? Or can you not remember their name?

For myself, My love and I were conversing on MSN. Yes, the infamous matchmaker itself. We lived in the same Residence building at University and we had gotten to know eachother through our frosh group. After having broken up with our significant others, both of a considerably long time, we began hanging out more and more, and well, on MSN that particular night we let more slip I figure our minds wanted us too (but not more than our hearts.)

After confessing that we dream about eachother, and that we are completely head over heels for eachother, it had rolled over to 3:45am and I asked her to meet me in the hall of the main lobby (really the only place we could) just so I could see her. It had come to the point that I needed to if I was going to sleep that night. Well, we met down in the lobby, and more than meeting, we ran into eachothers arms. I had never felt her that close and Did not want to let go. I can distinctly remember how she looked up and me, babbling like an idiot I was, and how she just shut me up, kissing me so deeply I almost fainted from the rush. After being lip-locked for god knows how long, we returned to our respective sides of the hall, being I was sitting against one wall, and her against the other, staring at eachother. "Do you realize what we've done?" she says. "Yes. We're not the same people to eacother anymore. Not after this." I replied. "Hypothetically, if we get married, who handles the finances?" she jokes. "Both of us?" I said nervously. You have to hate those hidden meaning questions. "Are you one of those 'I am the man' kind of guys?". We sat there, reconvening to kiss every so often, and hold eachother like no tomorrow until about 6:15am. We returned to our rooms afterward for what was a short sleep before our 9:30am class.

So what's your story?

Love,

Mouse :icare:

mingusfingers 07-12-2005 08:26 PM

Our first kiss was very meaningful, though looking back, we both agree it wasn't the best at all. I took her to a scary movie, which had her jumping into me, and we held hands for the night. I gave her a ride home, and as she's saying goodbye, she leans over and gives me a small peck, rushed, and poorly aimed kiss. It was, however, very special to both of us.

bobophil 07-13-2005 09:31 AM

my first kiss... I was seven. It was amazing. It was July 4th and we were watch ing fireworks. As we settled in, i moved a little clos- sorry, lost in the moment.

Miss Ina 07-13-2005 05:31 PM

That's really cool -- my first kiss with my guy was oddly similar to yours. We were also up in the wee hours of the morning, also talking to each other on MSN, and also while in our residence rooms just across our university's quad from each other. He said he needed a hug and, having a big crush on him, I went over to give him one. I discovered he liked me too when we just started kissing. It was the cutest first kiss with someone I've ever had.

Just thought I'd share that coincidence. Reading your story made me smile.

fresnelly 07-13-2005 05:36 PM

Not to be a wet blanket, but I don't think we should perpetuate the notion of high stakes, life altering "firsts". After growing up watching too many episodes of The Wonder Years, I developed ridiculous expectations and anxieties about that first kiss, date, feel etc...

I spent far too many nights as a mopey teenager lying awake pining and agonizing over the how and who and when. I'm sure I wasn't alone in this.

For the record, my first kiss was a sloppy opened mouth affair. I'm not ashamed of that; I just wish I had the courage to get it over with sooner instead of wasting all that time as the tragic unrequited martyr.

noodle 07-13-2005 06:00 PM

oh, man. mine was awful with the first guy i ever kissed. and it wasn't me that was bad, by general consensus of those who witnessed it.

my current SO and i went out a few times and we had both been scarred by previous relationships so we were already twitchy. we literally missed the first attempt, laughed about it on the phone later and attacked each other the next night. :D it was all over after that, but the first "almost kiss" was so humerous it stuck with both of us.

Siege 07-13-2005 07:30 PM

Lessee.... The first kiss was with a girl I dated for about, a week. We were standing out in front of a small mall (blocking traffic at one point i might add :) ) talking about god knows what. We were there for quite a long time and eventually we parted ways. Before we did, we gave each other quick pecks on the lips.

The better kiss was about 1-2 days before a provincial tournament that required me to leave this other girl's side for about a week. We weren't really sure if we were really "going out." That made things a little more interseting. Anyway, we went shopping, and we were about to part ways, when I said "so, how about a kiss for good luck?" We ended up kissing for a little while and we went back to our respective homes

snowy 07-13-2005 10:19 PM

The first kiss my partner and I shared was truly awful. We were both drunk, but even so it wasn't an excuse for the tongue bath he gave me. I was only his second kiss, though, and so he was easily forgiven. I took great joy in training him into the kisser he is today; his first girlfriend got lucky thanks to my tuition...and it paid dividends for me later when we resumed our sexual relationship.

As for other memorable kisses, my first kiss is one I'll never forget. I had a very good friend by the name of Kevin. We were hanging out after school one day with a friend of mine from another school who had come to ours for her softball team picture. Eventually, though, we decided it was time to walk home and Kevin offered to walk me there. We headed out of school, and as we were walking, he became very quiet. I said, "Penny for your thoughts." He replied, "I was wondering what it would take for you to make out with me." I giggled nervously and said I wasn't sure I was that kind of girl, to just kiss people I wasn't dating. At any rate, he kind of caught my arm and we paused on the sidewalk, his lips coming towards mine. We kissed, and all I could think was that there was a warm, slimy tongue in my mouth. I hardly said anything after--I didn't know what to say. I think I must have crushed him by rushing home without returning any kind of affection. We hardly talked for the rest of our high school career.

At any rate, some of my lacrosse teammates had been driving by on the street and seen Kevin and I kissing. By noon the next day the entire 9th grade class knew we had kissed. People still talked about it when we graduated from high school three years later, and I didn't kiss another boy until I was 17.

Ustwo 07-14-2005 04:00 AM

Mmmmm I can't remember for sure, but I think it was some girl (no clue what her name was) in a hot tub from out of town. She was also my first in a lot of ways that night. Needless to say we hit it off.

I never did get her last name, and the girl who was dating a friend of mine and knew it was being a bitch and wouldn't tell me because she thought what we did was wrong. Fast forward one year later later, the girl came looking for me and I wasn't home :(

Just as well, I met my wife soon after, in a hot tub as well.

I'm good in a hot tub

Daoust 07-14-2005 04:31 AM

Oh I remember mine. Very clearly. It helps that my sexual history ( if you consider kissing to be in this category) is pretty short. It was grade 6. Me and Lisa were 'pretty serious'. We were in the love tunnels on the school yard, ( the tunnels so called for their historically being known as the place where many had kissed and some even gone further) and we were engaged in a mock wedding ceremony ( an excuse to kiss the bride). Well, Lisa and I said our "I do's" and we kissed a quick, soft smack. To this day I wonder if Lisa remembers that day. I wonder if it was even her first kiss. I had always assumed it was.

Another memorable kiss was my first french kiss. I was in Gr.8. A girl and I started talking on the phone, and in the course of it I dared her to french me at school the next day. She kept her promise. I remember sitting in class, waiting for 10 oclock, sucking on breath mints. When the time came we met up, went into a back hall, and frenched. It was really amazing. I remembering saying "uh, again! again!" It was great. But we stopped and after that I hardly ever talked to her again.

ruggerp11 07-14-2005 06:11 AM

I didn't have a serious girlfriend until eighth grade. By serious I mean longer than two seconds. JC and I had started going out that day. I had to take the bus home and she was taking a different one so she gave me a kiss right before we parted. I was on cloud nine for quite a while. Also, later at a dance...my first case of blue balls. I thought I was going to die. She has a kid now, maybe moree than one...

My current GF was much more eletric and will be something I'll never forget.

Nunquam_Idem 07-14-2005 12:57 PM

Our first kiss (It was both of ours- we'd never kissed anyone else) was very special- we were kind of wanting to wait until our wedding day to kiss the first time, so that added to the mood- made us a bit apprehensive to kiss at all.

However, within a couple days after we were engaged, we slowly allowed ourselves to kiss each others hands, arms and necks. We were alone downstairs and then started kissing cheeks- I'd kiss hers, she'd kiss mine, I'd kiss the other side, she'd kiss my other side... This went on for a blissful eternity, each kiss slowly moving closer to each others lips, when finally we found ourselves pressing our lips together and kissing fully and deeply... Oh, it was beautiful...

We must have been adventurous too because within a minute we were french kissing for the first time as well. I had wondered why people liked french kissing, it didn't sound that great, but feeling tongues touching in the sweetest first kiss was pure electricity.

Been married 2+ years now with a whole lot more kissing to look forward to. It's always exciting when we try reliving that first kiss again, taking it as slow as we did it then...

JamMasterJames 07-14-2005 08:52 PM

Hmm... the first one I dont count as a real kiss, because I was only in 5th grade, and I only kissed her for the hell of it...

But... it was my best friends freaky ass sister, we were all playing hide 'n' seek, She liked me alot... but yeah... I hid in some bushes, and she came with me. We were real quiet and all the sudden she had ahold of my dick and she kinda... laid ontop of me. I only followed through with it, cuz it felt good, otherwise I wouldnt have really gave in.

The one I consider real, was when I was in 7th grade, and I was going out with this chick for bout a week. We went to six flags and we sat in the back of the train. We were talking and things got kinda hot, so I reached in and we kissed for about 3 train rides.. o_O. Although I dont get along to well with her nowadays, I'll always remember her and that everlasting kiss...

Beccarain 07-15-2005 09:24 PM

My first real kiss . . . I don't remember the actual kiss but I met my first boyfriend at a roller skating rink in SoCal. Our first kiss was at the skating rink. I was 13, he had just turned 16 (oooooh older man!) When we kissed, he just moved his tongue around (he did not move his mouth) so it got kinda boring after awhile. Hey, I was only 13, what the heck did I know? :)

HoneyPot 08-09-2005 11:34 PM

My first real kiss was with this geeky guy who I had a crush on when I was twelve. When I was 15 years old, we were on our annual camping trip with his family and mine. He knew by this time I was still wanting him... Hmmm He came into my tent and laid next to me.... We talked and bam... my first...tongue...kiss! Ugh. Talk about disgusting! I never wanted to make out/kiss a guy ever in my life, ever again! I was so grossed out. You dream about your first kiss for so long and come to find out its just a big line.... ha ha I wish fairytales do sometimes come true.... or at least the kissing part. Now I love to make out/kiss. I think its one of the most important things in a relationship.... there is so much more to kissing....

abaya 08-10-2005 06:09 AM

Oh, this is a fun thread. :)

So my first kiss was when I was barely 19, quite the late bloomer. I'd been "saving" myself, and I started liking this guy about 6 months previous to kissing him... I set myself the goal of him being my first kiss, no matter what was to follow. Luckily he liked me back, but I went away for 3 months in the summer and he had to wait for me to return before we kissed (didn't want to rush it).

After "going out" officially for a couple weeks, I decided it was the right time. (I was quite religious at the time and praying about it, you see.) So there was this joke in the Christian community about kisses being peaches, prunes, or alfalfa... think about the shape your mouth makes when you say those words. Peaches and prunes were okay, according to our youth pastor, but alfalfa was in the danger zone. Ha!

Anyway, my bf at the time was over helping me clean my mom's roof, and we ended up in the backyard climbing one of my favorite trees. As we were sitting up there, I asked him what kind of tree this might be (he had studied biology and liked trees). He said he had no idea, so I hinted that it might be a PEACH tree... (it wasn't, but I was dropping hints like crazy). Finally he got it... and after some light joking, he kissed me. My first impression was that it felt like a wet feather. :)

It took me a lot longer to say that it was okay to french kiss, as I had all these crazy physical boundaries and stuff at the time. (Typical Evangelical.) Eventually we tried it, and I didn't like it at first... then I liked it so much that I had to tell him to stop before I was tempted to do more. HA! Poor guy.

Anyway, it was good first kiss, but I've long since moved on. Kissed a few people since then, but my absolute favorite kisser is my current bf, ktspktsp. And I was his first kiss... so maybe he should tell that story! :icare: Mmmm I love kissing him, and can't wait to be reunited with him again in 3.5 weeks... :D

This is classic! I come from an evangelical background as well, and although I never heard someone explain it like that ( we were told that basically everything after holding hands was unacceptable before marriage) I think it's hilarious. I'm going to use that on my wife tonight.
"Honey, enough of the peaches, I want an alfalfa kiss!"

gh0ti 08-10-2005 06:40 AM

My first kiss was in Rome Italy when I was 17. We took this see Europe in 21 days tour in high school during the summer and we happened to stay in a hotel with students from three other cities. I met this girl from Anne Arbor Michigan. We talked a lot and headed for the roof of the hotel. We hung out with a bunch of other kids for a while drinking, smoking, having a good time and one thing lead to another.. we ended up making out for (what seemed like) a couple of hours.

Roof top, Rome Italy, Full Moon. I'll never forget that night, even though I never saw the girl again.

Charlatan 08-10-2005 06:41 AM

My first real kiss was with Lillianne Ouillette and it was behind a hill near her house... I was about 13 or 14 at the time. It was electric. We dated (if you can call necking dating) for a very short while. She even let me touch her boobies (skin to skin even!).

She was also my very first heartbreak. She cheated on me with an older guy in the neighbourhood. To top it off, I really hated the guy.

I suppose I've been jaded ever since.

Yep, good stuff. Alll-fallll-fa... lots of tongue usage there. I'm glad someone else came from that same crazy background and knows what I'm talking about. I don't mean any disrespect to people who still believe in waiting till marriage to kiss, but DAAAMN I am glad that I didn't go with that opinion for too long! Just wasn't for me.

First ever, 13.(full tongue) John McCoy. Back seat of a Ford Fairlane while his friend and mine were in the front. After he kissed me, my friend announced, 'you KNOW she's 13, right?' John was 21.....

abaya 08-10-2005 07:10 AM

Let me just add briefly: one of the very few cool things about being long-distance, is that every time I am reunited with ktspktsp, it's like kissing him for the first time. :icare: I get to have that "first kiss" feeling at the airport, train station, front door, wherever... it's WONDERFUL. :D So you can imagine, after 2.5 months apart, how our "first kiss" will be on September 2nd!!!! :D Look out, airport security...

bobillydylan 08-10-2005 08:31 AM

I was eight when i had my first proper kiss, i had kissed girls before but not with tongues. I was in the second year at junior school and i fancied this girl Debra Rigby in my class.. we passed notes accross the classroom and she said she wanted to kiss me in the cloakroom there and then, and told me to ask to go to the toilet and she would as well. so i put my hand up and asked the teacher then went and sat in the cloakroom. I could hear the door open to the classroom and my heart was thumping with excitement, she came and sat down beside me and without any words being said, she started to kiss me on the lips, then i felt her push her tongue inside my mouth and i was like wow!!! so i pushed mine into hers and we stayed like that for what seemed like ages. Then she got up and rushed back into the classroom, and i followed a couple of seconds later and sat down. I could see her telling her mates and they where all giggling. She sent me another note saying she couldnt wait for school to finish....that was the longest two hours of my life.lol...

chelsea_9 08-10-2005 09:22 PM

i built myself up for so many instances where i thought he was going to kiss me.. but when it actually happened, i was caught completely off guard.

and it was kind of awkward, mainly because we were laying on his couch, so noses got in the way... and the whole caught off guard thing. but it was very soft and sweet, very touchy-feely and... lovely.

and i do remember the food network was on inthe background.

then again, the food network is usually on at his house!

Stompy 08-11-2005 07:59 AM

Hm, I was 12.

It was in a cemetery.

AVoiceOfReason 08-11-2005 10:23 AM

Indeed I do remember it. It's a bit of a tale, but I'll make it quick.

One weekend, I was at the movies near my hometown. I'd been birddogging a gal in my school for years, but not getting anywhere. She was there with a friend from out of town. The two girls left and came back and swapped seats, with Kim sitting next to me (she's the one from out of town). We started talking and before long, we were holding hands (she was a 9th grader, I think). The movie got interrupted by a tornado warning, and we were ushered out of the theater. As we rushed to our cars, I tried to give her a kiss, but she didn't catch what I was doing at the moment.

So, as luck would have it, I was scheduled to be in her town (about 120 miles away) in a couple of weeks for something school related. As more luck would have it, the place we were staying was withing walking distance of her house. So, we arranged to meet and we went back to her house. She said "I'm sorry about the night at the show."

I'd already forgotten and said "huh?"

"When you tried to kiss me."

"Oh." I said, noticing we were alone. And even at my age and inexperience, I knew what she was getting at.

So we did--full French kiss.

Funny thing, I don't remember if we kissed any more during that time, but I remember that first one.

hotzot 08-11-2005 03:09 PM

I was playing spin the bottle in 7th grade. She was very cute and I was very embarrassed.

radioguy 08-11-2005 04:24 PM

yep, her name was cara :)

Blonddie 08-11-2005 09:06 PM

My first real kiss, was with my then bf, at night, under a street light, it was lightly snowing out. It was very gentle and romantic. A nice memory-- the only one of him I think I have..lol!

Acetylene 08-12-2005 06:24 AM

My first kiss was like sucking on a wet facecloth. It was totally disgusting and I didn't kiss anyone for a very long time, certain that kissing was way overrated.

MiSo 08-12-2005 09:09 AM

my first kiss was in 9th grade.
it was unbelievable.
multiply "wow" times a billion and you'll get the idea.

Kissin in God's House

Her name was Charity Lanferman and it was on a Sunday afternoon in one of the sunday school rooms while everyone else was outside enjoying the picnic, we were 12.....ROFL....too funny...her Dad was the pastor....Oh and her boobs were my first set as well. -----------"Did you hear lightening and thunder or is it just me?" :hmm:

genuinegirly 08-13-2005 01:23 PM

1st kiss: 11pm in a park, on a bench. Scariest thing ever. I was 17.

Trisk 08-14-2005 04:42 AM

Hmm, I think my first kiss was around 14, at camp. I was terrified and proceeded to run away and avoid the person for the rest of the term, in fear that they had thought I was a horrible kisser. I later found out that he had actually told some other inquisitive people that he enjoyed it.

Still, I kinda consider my first kiss to be on New Years when I was 16. I was drunk, he was drunk, we had been eyeing each other all night and proceeded to make out/explore each other for several hours once we got started, ending in falling asleep in each other's arms.
Things were kind of awkward upon waking up the next day though.

*Edit*
I didn't read the entire thread before, but I just finished with it and I just wanted to add that every time I read a thread like this, I'm so suprised to see how late everyone else got started. I remember at 16, I was sooo ashamed to have so little experience. I guess I shouldn't have felt so alone hehe. If only I had known how many of us were out there.

ktspktsp 08-14-2005 08:33 AM

From a super-late bloomer:

My first kiss was about a year and a half ago. It was my birthday party, I had been flirting a lot with Abaya (mostly on msn) in the previous week, had danced Salsa with her a few days before that.. and I was starting to fall for her.. I had decided by my birthday that I would tell her how I felt..

So, the party starts. Her mom was visiting her, she's also a casino dealer.. So we had organized for her to deal blackjack at the party (I had under 21's there so grateful to be at a party with drinks and card games, heh). Thankfully, she drove her mom back to her place at some point.

Of course, this being my birthday party, I was drinking quite a bit. And no beer or vodka or whatever - this is a special day, so I opened a bottle of Arak (Lebanese alcohol, like Ouzo, mmmmmmm good). Lovely drink, strong drink.

By the time I was ready to make my move, Abaya was talking with a friend of hers.. They kept talking and talking, I kept drinking, by the time she was alone I was toast!. Well, I still managed to tell her how I felt, then I kissed her - and lost my balance and fell :). Yep, that first kiss really did make me weak in the knees! (ok, so the alcohol helped too). After that, we kept kissing, I took her to the laundry room (right by the busy kitchen, and with no door) and we were kissing all the time (by that point I didn't give any damn about the party, I'm sure people were trying to say bye but I didn't notice them :D

Eventually she had to walk back home, so I walked with her, stopping and kissing all the time.. Eventually we were near her house, kissing again, I start dropping my hands in her pants, somehow thinking we were in a discreet place (we were not! I was just drunk).

At the end, her roommate came down to fetch her (her mom was still waiting up there!). But from that beginning we never looked back :D

I wish I remembered the first kissing moments better, but I was too drunk.. I still remember the rest quite well though :)

Ah, my Abaya :icare:
