women and fetishes, do they have the same kinds as men?
yes, i've known and dates several kinky, perverted girls. so i'm not questioning that at all
but i'm just curious if female sexuality is that different, probably due to a combination of physiological and most definitely socialization different from ours. what i mean is, how common is a girl fetishizing an object or single body part the way a man might with feet or whatever recently i read an article about quentin tarantino who is an obvious foot fetishist. apparently, this woman claims he requested she allow him to suck on her toes while he masturbated ok, that's not that weird to me really in the grand scheme of things. same thing goes for say, women's underwear, nylons etc. there's probably a fair share of men who could get off sniffing a girl's knickers or nylons etc. jeez, i remember once i grabbed my then girlfriend at the time as she was getting ready for work, headbutted her behind and had a quick wank as i basically motorboated her jean-clad posterior (then when i was done i gave her a tap on the butt and said "have a great day at work!" and went back to sleep) so i'm curious if this fetishism exists for females could a girl just bury her head into a dude's muscley abs and just fap away? sniff his crust gym socks? etc etc etc? ideas/anecdotes welcome ---------- Post added at 10:22 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:21 PM ---------- i certainly couldn't imagine most girls i know going "i'm gonna install a video camera under my desk so i can record men's packages as they walk by in secret" |

This strikes me as a strange question, Tusko. Do you think there's a line drawn in the sand between the sexes? I'm sure it's not written in stone.

I'm a guy, but I have a few thoughts on fetishes in general.
I think the popular perception among psychologists is that that fetishes develop during childhood, before we become fully sexually aware. I remember being 7 or 8, having a variety of children's toys, putting on the pair of police handcuffs (with quick safety release, of course,) when my parents weren't around and almost instantly getting an erection. I'm not 100% sure whether it embedded itself in my memory or whether it just made me aware of a fetish I had years before I understood what sex was, but to this day bondage is arousing to me. It's a bit difficult since I find the humiliation and degradation typically associated with bondage completely unattractive, but it's just a kink I have, nothing I require to get off. In my experience, I've also come across women with fetishes just like men have -- common things like feet and fat, more obscure stuff like piss and scat (which, for the record, disgusts me,) and more extreme but not harmful stuff like full involvement in BDSM including master/slave relationships. It's part of human development and I firmly believe that the differences have to do with societal attitudes toward male and female sexuality rather than a fundamental difference between men and women. |

It's an interesting subject for sure. I like the simple things though, like the hands of a man. The shape of only a few move me inside, just a very sexy part of the body.
Now I wonder if this came from my childhood, thinking back. I wonder if it has something to do with trust, but maybe not. |

ignoring that women and men are different physiologically, they are sexually socialized different than men. which leads to my observation that men are more likely to objectify, or be attracted to objectified parts of a female. ---------- Post added at 05:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:44 PM ---------- Quote:
you're just attracted to nice hands. i like girls with nice legs, i don't have a leg fetish. i don't fantasize about leggy girls rubbing their legs on my face and groin. |

in my opinion women are far less fetishistic than men.
That doesnt mean that many women dont enjoy sex... but I think far less women (for example) like the idea of high heel shoes more than the actual sex itself, or want to dress all in rubber, or pretend theyre a big baby, or whatever else these people get up to. I think this is because women in general are less alienated from sex than some men.

I've spent entirely too much time hanging out at BDSM clubs to think that women don't have the same fetishes, or just as strong fetishes, as men.

I went with a gal that loved to say NO and be forefully taken. She would fight and say no but once you got her clothes off everything changed. She always came in multiples.
That type of fun would scare me anymore. Might end up getting arrested. Had a friend that said another gal we hung around with was the same way. Must be something in the local water |

It should get broken down into fetishes with a partner (rape fantasy, uniforms, BSDM, bondage, etc...) and fetishes without a partner. It's the ones without a partner that I don't know (erotica, porn?). And I have a feeling that is where men and women differ.
