Condom usage
As my first post at TFP, I'll ask for some tips on using condoms :) (What better way to start, eh?)
These are VERY n00bish questions, so please don't flame - I already know. 1. If I ejaculate....can I continue to go at it without fear that some will leak out? 2. If not, is it safe to take it out, wash it off, put another condom on, and go back at it? 3. Kinda unrelated, but would the shower be a good place to have sex for the first time? (less mess? I dunno) Totally random stuff, but hey - I gotta know this stuff ;) |
Re: Condom usage
I'm no sex expert, but I think I can answer these...

I have a question about that shower thing too i guess... when using a condom is it pretty much impossible to have sex in the shower or what?

Edited: Nobody needs my advice on condoms.

I have always wondered about your first question. I have done that two or three times, and luckily, never got anyone pregnant, but it always made me worry. I wanna know, is anyone CERTAIN that thats not safe?
What if there is plenty of room at the end? Because I get off kinda quick sometimes, but I can keep going, UNLESS I stop, which is why I can't change condoms. So I like to just keep on keeping on. |
condoms are not to be completely trusted. to me they are emergency contraceptives... better than just pulling out, but not for everyday use.
once i came and when i pulled out the condom stayed inside her. after that i would reach down and make sure once in a while that the condom was still on by feeling the lower half. so i was going away felt the condom around the bottom half of my guy and came. when i pulled out i discovered that it had ripped and was only left around the bottom. those were a damn long 4 weeks. |
condoms fail rates are due to improper use. they are actually pretty decent if you know what to do. when you put it on you're supposed to pinch the reservoir (the funny bulbous part at the tip) while rolling it on with the other hand. by pinching ahead of time, you don't put stress on the condom by trying to fix it right after you've already put it on. that could create microtears in it. when you're done, you're supposed to remove it immediately. to do this, you hold the condom at the base and then pull out.
one problem with condoms in the shower could be lack of lube since the water washes away most of the lubricants and such. i wouldn't suggest doing it in the shower the first time if you are a total noob to sex. |
All I can say is, start in the shower and then move on. You can have a lot of naked fun without "doing the deed". I think it might be called foreplay or something. After you have had enough shower time, then you can move to the bed and you don't have to worry about the lack or room or running water.
