some say it lengthens how long you will last, some say it shortens it... what's the truth?

In my experience, the length of sex depends on the position, the "friction" and your mental state. Whether or not you've prevented prostate cancer or not doesn't enter into it much.

As with everything, it's all in how you go about it.
Effectively, you're training your body and mind into what level of stumlation and length of time you should expect before reaching climax, so if you go hell for leather everytime, the dash2splash, you're only going to shorten your endurance. Whereas, I think it's accepted that if you can hold back on the edge for 15 minutes or so then you've got total conscious control over how long you can last for. |
Let's say you have sex. Then you have sex again. The second time always lasts longer because you've been "primed." Think of masturbation as priming for sex. If you do it a lot before you have sex, you'll probably last longer because you've gotten the first quickie one out of the way and you'll have more stamina.
That's how I see it, anywho. |
if u do penis exsercises you will strengthen your penis. like constrict your P muscle and hold it, release, repeat. dunno what this is called, but it does work, for females aswell, same muscle.

I don't know about the male population as a whole, but I know for a fact that it does neither for me. It affects my sexual performance in no way.

Rogue49, I find your statement that overdoing the wank decreases sensitivity and makes it more difficult to get hard with a chick to be true. Just wondering--did you say that from your personal experience, or have you read any literature that supports this theory? If so, I'd like to read it.

MacGnG's technique is right, they are called pelvic floor exercises. Rythmically tensing and releasing these muscles, the PK muscles, will make them stronger and more controllable, as with any other muscle.
Breathing also helps, big, long, deep breaths can quickly bring a chap back from the point of orgasm. |
