food for sex
I'm hoping for some brainstorming help here. Planning a fun day locked in a hotel room feeding our carnal appetites, but figured we'll have to address our more mundane ones at some point. Can people suggest good foods to keep us sustained without weighing us down, bloating us, or otherwise distracting from the main focus of the day? Thanks!

gatorde.
it'll give you energy, and keep you from dehydrating, and you wont need to use an enema if you had intended on going down 'that road' oh..and fruits contain fibre and will move your bowels, so maybe take it easy on the fruits if the hotel decided to furnish you with a bowl. |
I'd say bananas. They won't run through the system as fast, can be used as a prop and provide lots of nutrients.
Basically any food that you'd need when doing a hard workout will do. |
..except protein shakes. They'll give you flatulence. and you dont really want that if you're doing the dirty.
|
I would say go for the fruits and vegetables. They're mostly water. There's nothing wrong with keeping the plumping moving. Just evacuate your bowels in between session if necessary. It's better than being clogged up while rolling around.
Fruits and vegetables will generally give you energy and hydration. Maybe toss in some nuts and seeds as well for healthy fats and protein. Anything else might add too much bulk and could make you lethargic. |
Pedialyte has less calories than Gatorade, if you're worried about that.
I'd go with some energy bars, too... But not the Kashi ones, the jet propulsion with those is legendary. |
I'd just have a Mars bar and a pint of fat coke to be honest. You want energy for putting on the power moves.

PB&J and redbull

This is probably one of the oddest posts I've read in a while.

Fruit seems the most logical choice for your lock down because it is soft on the system, usually. Avoid beans, Mexican, Italian and anything that will cause tummy expansion and instantaneous pass-out.
Ice water would be nice, too. I love chomping on ice and dumping it on lovers. Wine is good, too, as it removes all inhibitions, and since you’ve gone so far as to sequester yourselves, feelings of timidity might hinder your progress toward your goals. Finish it off with seafood. Seafood = SEXfood. It will get you back in the mood again, after you break for recess. Keep us posted. :) |
Sounds like a good time for a twelve-hour fast.:) Maybe some bubbly (or mineral water if you don't drink) to avoid dehydration. And ice, yes.:) Afterwards you can go out and (I'm assuming hetero here...) symbolically devour an Italian sausage while he eats a taco.:shakehead:

Oyster Shooters!
Eggs during breakfast and depending where you stay you might be able to score almond butter or milk. Fruits are good and anything you can share is usually a good idea. Brie or whatever cheese you like with crackers are good ideas as well. Cheese fondue? depending on where you stay. Heh honestly after a while you'll want a satisfying meal and thin crust pizzas usually hit the spot and they don't weigh you down unless you really indulge. Something that the both of you enjoy to eat, just don't have too much of it and messy foods or something that could be messy that leads to laughs means more fun soon. Pizza and wine is fun. No one said chocolates? |

I would eat foods that you can incorporate into sex. Strawberries, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, pineapple, ... |

Watch the DVD of 9 1/2 Weeks. About any food can contribute to the experience. Have fun

I just find the idea of planning what I am going to eat so it doesn't disrupt my ability to have sex... odd. Planning sexy foods like strawberries, chocolate, or whatever is one thing. Planning what to eat so don't get to tired or bloated or whatever, is just (to me) weird. It isn't something I would plan for. I would either bring a picnic basket with some food in it or I would, as I suggested above, order room service. |
Everybody's different. I eat a ton of nuts before running and I'll be shouting groceries by the second mile, other people swear by it instead of at it. You know what you can eat without problems, just try and go for lean foods since oil and heavy stuff will tend to weigh you down.
