The roots of your fetish tree
On another site, which is primarily fetish based, someone wrote in their "blog" about remembering the start of a particular fetish/preference. This memory went back to when he was a child (between the ages of 7-9) and was about his friend's mother. Since then, he has accredited his love for older in charge women to this particular event.
Reading this got me thinking. Biting is one of my fetishes/something I love and recently I recalled something from my childhood about biting. As a fairly young child I used to bite my arms, pretty hard in fact, to the point that I can remember having teeth shaped scabs. I asked my grandma about this when I saw her a few weekends ago, to make sure it wasn't just a made up memory. She said she does remember me doing that for awhile but I grew out of it quickly, probably because she would put hot sauce on my arm. :lol:
I am not sure why I did this biting, but I figure this must be the start of it. I still love having my arms bitten to this day and when I am stressed or nervous I bite them and my hands. I don't bite hard enough to leave scabs though, thank goodness.
So, can anyone else trace a fetish or sexual preference back to a moment in their earlier days? Are there any that do go all the way back to being a young child? Have you ever identified a particular fetish/preference with a specific event before?
