I'm considerate to my fellow human beings... I don't wear biker shorts nor speedos.

i am the same as Cynthetiq.
i feel that the male body and form is utilitarian, hence a reason why i am hetrosexual, and i don't think penises have the same allure that females breasts or butt has. also i am not trying to objectify women and reduce them to that, i am just saying that males generally have more of an interest in these areas. but to me, nothing is better than a beautiful face. |

Had to wear one years and years ago when I was swimming competitively. I immediately understood why they were referred to as banana hammocks and grape smugglers.
I can't see how they'd be appealing in any way to a woman...

no offense meant...but nope. i dunno if it's just an aesthetic thing or if i've got it in my mind the types of guys that would do that, and that's jsut unappealing...

I have known girls that foamed at the mouth at the sight of a buff guy in speedos - the reality of it though, is that very few guys would pass the test to qualify - you need to resemble an Adonis to look ok in them - hence, shorts maketh the man!!!

I have mirrors in my house, and I use them when I'm purchasing clothing. I guess there are a number of people out there that don't have mirrors or don't look at them before leaving the house.

Oddly they are very popular in Europe. Whenever I am on the beach over there, there seems to be an inordinant number of men wearing speedo. Scary.

its just another cultural difference. in the rest of the world, people wear speedos.
It was quite a surprise when i first came to the US. I wear swimming shorts now, over my speedos. I think shorts look better, but speedos are pretty comfortable.. |

At 42, I have a hard time deciding still which would be worst, my fat ass in speedo's or being naked running around on the beach.
NAKED wins everytime in the end though , the fat doesn't plop over in one spot, its distributed equally, flopping as nature had intended, without restriction. It must be noted that I am not one of the few beautiful people, that beach goers fawn over, just as a note

I have to be honest. I don't care if a guy is a Gap model or something.. there's just something wrong about speedo's on a guy in my opinion.
Personally they just don't look that comforable to me anyways. I've been a boxer guy since I was 10 or so and never looked back! |

I like what ever looks good on the person. Regular speedos are usually the best. Just normal black speedos. That's for swimming. Bermudas or cut off cargo pants work well when just hanging out on the beach. Boxer-like fitting pieces look good with round bums & muscle in upper body. But thenagain, my bf is an eyecandy and could look good in most anything as opposed to myself. I won't wear anything without push-up & wire for beach

One of the scariest damn things I've seen in my life was at Cocoa Beach in 1992 - a 70-something year old man wandering the pier in a speedo.
I'd already sworn off them by that point, but I renewed the vow that day.
