And I'm surprised they do, especially that people would be so opposed to not circumcising. If anything, I would think it would be the opposite. Perhaps it is related to the majority of males in an area being circumcised.

im circumcized and havent really seen an uncut penis. never really thought girls had a problem with it till my roomate was tellin a bunch of us that his cousin went out with a chick and she got all freaked out cause he wasn't circumcized. but seeing how must chicks on here dont really have a problem with it. i think its that chick has problem with the dude. interesting, cause i hadnt thought of it.

I remember as a child iwas pretty surprised being uncut (my brother being cut and all) and it alwasy felt like being an outsider living in the U.S. though i was very much born here.

Seeing most posters here are from the US where being cut is the majority, yeah it seems the norm.

But actually the majority of people out htere aren't cut. Having a bit of chinese heritage in me I do know that most chinese (and in fact most of the "asian" nations) do not practice it (as a majority at least for there are very much those areas who may though its a very small minority).

Marky, when you pull your skin back it hurts? That doesn't sound good. You need to stretch that puppy out. I could understand if you were 8, but at your age it sounds odd. Seriously, you need to flog the dolphin more to stretch it out or see a doctor. Maybe you have inflammation or a mild infection. Use triple antibiotic ointment in petroleum jelly base (like neosporin) for your personal jack lube every day, and it may fix inflammation. Don't have this on your Johnson when you visit nancy or you could mess up her delicate biotic balance in there. If you are afraid of "coming off" too quickly with her, then jack off before you go to see her - just like in the movie "there's something about mary". It really works. Plus you will have a condom on so you won't be as sensitive. You should try what I say and if still hurts see a doc because it shouldn't hurt dude.

I don't think what he describes is an infection. He said the glans is sensitive and kinda hurts from touching it, not that the pain is related to pulling the skin back. The sensitivity is normal, because the glans is actually a special membrane, not really skin and is meant to be protected by the foreskin and kept moist. In circumcised males, the glans adjusts to the loss of protection by getting a bit harder, and losing some of its sensitivity.

Sensitive and hurts from touching it may just be a very sensitive penis. I'd say its kind of natural. I remember at a very young age it would feel like that too - the first times I went "exploring" - but then after a bit it wouldn't.

Though at this age it would somewhat be strange...

Chances are if the girl likes you enough to have sex with you, a bit of skin won't turn her off. If it bothers guys with foreskin so much, why don't they just get circumcised? Im 25 and have had lots of experiences and never has my uncut penis caused my any problems with chicks.

The foreskin actually protects the penis throughout a man's life so uncircumsized men usually don't have the same complaints about desensitivity that circumsized men do later in life. Plus the foreskin will provide better lubrication when having sex. It's actually a functional part of your body, not just a useless piece of skin like once thought.

Another instance where an outdated religious ritual has trumped medical science. (Although there are plenty of Jewish groups who choose not to circumsize their children, but they're still by far the minority.)

The topic starter wanted to not feel inferior because he's uncircumcised...instead of just bringing him up to the level, you've told him that he's superior tp those that are circumcised. Thus, all of us circumcised males are left to feel inferior.

I was uncircumsized from birth to 18 then I had myself circumsized. Needless to say my penis has not stopped thanking me since. Never again will the word smegma enter my vocabulary. I like the way it looks and so have all my partners. As for the de-sensitivity thats a plus in my book since I can last a long time and get my partner off first.
