I keep hearing lots of people say that there is no oral sex after marriage, specifically that married women don't give head. I am lucky enough to have a wife who is more than willing to go down on me, so I am just wondering how lucky am I? Is there any truth to this myth?

I have also heard many people say that after you are married that most ladies don't give head anymore. I'm a married woman and I gave my husband head before we got married and I continue to do so now. I love to do it.

If activity changes from before to after you're married, then there are some obvious communication issues there. To me, that says that the activity was undertaken as a way to "keep" the other person and now that they're married it's no longer "required." That's a failure just waiting to happen as far as I see it.

At most, I can understand marriage making things happen MORE often rather than less often.

If a couple partakes in oral sex before marriage, there's no reason to stop after they're married. Just because they're married it doesn't mean they're restricted to standard intercourse

No complaints from this married guy! One interesting item: When we were dating, I gave my wife (girlfriend then, obviously) more oral sex than I recieved from her. Now that we are married, that has flipped...I get more than I give. And thats not because I've slowed down, but because she's picked up the pace.

Not sure it's the marriage thing that kills it or the child thing. I often get oral action, but only as foreplay. The last time I received a complete oral Shangrila was before my 8-year-old daughter was born. And it's not as if I don't readily and happily provide oral services. Sucks (or rather doesn't) to be me.

Dunno guys. Seems like most of you on here still receive oral pleasure as a regular part of your lives.
I'm not married, but I've been in a relationship for a few years now, and I honestly can't remember the last time she went down on me. I guess that wouldn't be too much of a problem if the absence was reciprocal, but it's not. I love going down on her, so that happens quite often.
I've just come to the conclusion that she doesn't like giving head. Sucks, but could be worse: she could not like me.
