Slight Genital pain
 

Hi everyone,

You may not think I am familar, but I have been apart of the community for awhile. I am one of the people who come back when they have a question hang out for a couple weeks and then disappear back into RL. I don't know how to contribute sucessfully to forums. I always feel like what I need to say has been said by someone else. However, you have always answered my questions quickly an so I ask opinions of the group again.

I noticed a pain near my right testicle on tuesday evening. This pain persisted untill wednesday evening. The pain was less then a 1 on the pain threshold scale (1-10). It was just enough to get me to notice it. Today I no longer feel the pain, but I am getting a slight tingling sensation where the pain used to be today. The sensation is light enough to make me feel like it is alll in my head. I probably wouldn't have noticed if I haven't worked myself up about the extremely minor pain. I have attributed the pain to the weather warming up my testicles hanging lower and me banging them on my thigh while doing cardio on tuesday. Does this make sense? Am I being overly concerned? Should I be more concerned. If it was something wrong wouldn't the pain be more noticible.

I guess I am concerned because once I actually do start having sex again, I would like to have kids.

Anything that persists (2+ days) and bothers you is enough to visit a doctor. Even if it turns out to be nothing, the peace of mind generated by a professional telling you nothing is wrong is invaluable.

I wouldn't say it sounds serious, but I don't have a PH.D. Play it by ear, and if gets to the point that its consistently on your mind, go.

IMO, you sat on your nuts. Happens to me all the time. Had it not been for the other guy on the football team with truly LOW hanging nuts it would have been me with the nickname "Dog Balls".

having done that plenty of times i would have thought the pain would have gone away pretty quickly. never lasts me more than a few mins. i suspect most guys know what that would feel like anyway

i´m starting to wonder if there should be a "doctor tilted" section....

could be anything.

could range from epiditimytis to varicocele. see a dr and get some ultra sounds done.

lets just say that i had a similar problem a year ago which required surgery.

see a dr asap.

dont take a risk with the crown jewels.

My nuts hurt whenever I try to sleep on my stomach. It wasn't until I started sleeping on my side or on my back that I noticed I was no longer walking funny the next day. :)

Yeah, I sit on my nuts sometimes and the pain is similar to what you're describing. Damn warm weather/room.

You experience unexplained genital pain. Do you:

A: Walk it off.
B: Take a couple aspirin and see if it goes away.
C: Go to a doctor.

See a doctor immediately with any concerns about your family jewels. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
