I can agree with women asking men out in principle, but I don't think I'd want that to happen to me. Sure, it would be great to be asked by a woman I want to go out with, but what if I didn't like her? Getting rejected is bad, but to do the rejecting is something I don't think I could handle with anything approaching grace.

Lately I've taken to making the first move. I just can't stand waiting for a guy to notice that I'm not just interested in being his friend. I am, by nature, not very subtle and when a guy can't tell even with how obvious I am it drives me crazy. Probably the most forward thing I've ever done was pushing a guy into his room and just taking off his pants. He told me later he loved it.

Simple statistics tells us that a sample of one is a poor indicator on which to base an entire philosophy of something, but the human mind is a strange thing!

I did end up going out with him many years later, when he asked me. In fact, we've been married now for well over a decade. But that's still the only time I've asked a guy out.

Frankly, my self-esteem was so low until only a few years ago, I never would have expected anything but a no (in high school, I was that loner kid that everyone hated), so I never saw the point in asking.

Tho I did try asking my best friend out once and I got shot down. As it turns out, he's gay, but I didn't know back then, and it killed what little self-confidence I had at the time and I never dared to try that again.

Fortunately, I'm finally in a relationship where I'm not shy about asking for what I want.

I've never had a problem going in for the kiss.

I can't say that a lass has ever made the first move on me. But I'm seriously oblivious to even the most obvious hints. Mainly because lasses seem to drop said hints when I'm blind drunk.

I think there have been a few of times where women have made a move on me. Two stick out:

1) I was not attracted in the slightest and she definitely gave off the bunny boiler vibe.

2) I was attracted to her but didn't see it coming. I ran into her in a club and she just up and asked me to come back to her place and fuck. It was very forward and very hot.

I think all of my exes initiated it.

every last one of them.

just proves to me that their judgement is flawed :p After all, they all did dump me.
