Best positions w/ pregant wife?
 

I searched for pregnant AND position but didn't find anything. Wondering if anybody can suggest good positions for my wife (who is pregnant) and I. Even before pregnancy we were limited somewhat because penetration from certain angles (like doggy style, arched back/upright cowgirl, bent over reverse cowgirl) caused her discomfort. Even missionary Now that her belly is getting bigger I'm looking for suggestions to make things more fun and keep it painless for her. Thanks

Usually doggie and the like is best while shes pregnant but if no rear entries work (did you try from a spoon position?) Then you are going to be out of luck.

lucky you. my wife wouldn't let me touch her AT ALL during either pregnancy. her boobs hurt all the time, etc.

Have her lie on the bed with her legs hanging off the edge, feet either on the floor or wrapped around you, pelvis on the very edge of the bed. Kneel on the floor and go at it. This will keep you from having to rest your belly on hers since you will be more or less upright. Also use Willravel's idea. You might find penetration easier if you are perpendicular to each other (form a t-shape) to expose her intimates better. The advantage here is you don't risk accidentally penetrating too hard or too fast and causing her the pain that she seems to usually feel from rear penetration.

Have her lie on her back "the long way" on the bed. You lie on your side "crosswise" on the bed. Her legs are relaxed, draped over you with her knees are bent over your hips. Very relaxing position for her, and you have great manual access to the goods, if you follow me. It's slightly rear-entry, but you have a lot of control over the angle.

My lower back hurts just THINKING about that, and I'm not even pregnant!

Another to try:

Have her lie on her side, with her bottom leg straight and her top leg bent perpendicular at the hip and at the knee. Then straddle her bottom leg and insert slowly. This position also allows you to vary the angle of incidence, so you can find what's most comfortable for her.

The problem with lying on her back during pregnancy is that, depending on how far along she is, the pressure of the baby on her abdominal artery will cause her to pass out. BTDT

Ya, or kneeling... you kneeling, at her feet, rubbing them.

Try the sofa buddy. And get as much as you can now because you won't get much after the baby is born. Also, good luck with the baby my friend.

this may sound stupid....but have you asked HER what she thinks might cause the least discomfort?

Anything from behind has always been painful for me so that was def out during my pregnancy, I found what worked best for me was me on top leaning forward or me laying on the edge of the bed (kinda like at the GYN and him standing up)

My wife was highly oversexed during her pregnancies. Man, she was horny. Early on we would use any position until the belly really began to swell. After that we used many positions, including my favourite, doggy style.

I hear of a couple folks who stopped having sex while pregnant, man they are missing the best sex of their lives. With one child, at 7 months my wife developed a wee leak in her amniotic sac and the doctor ordered no intercourse, bathing, of any other activity that might cause infection. I probably got more head, as did my wife, in that short period of life than any other full year combined. ;)

When I was expecting my twins, I was, at about 6-7 months, the size of someone at 9 months plus...so giving head was what I did (also because I was high-risk, so no intercourse)...until one night, in a kneeling position of submission.....I got stuck in that position and couldn't get off the floor on my own. :lol: Sex was completely put on hold for the rest of my term.
