Sexy styles that are out of fashion
What fashions do you like on men or women that you would like to see come back en vogue? I was just thinking about how hot bright red lipstick can be, even if it now invokes an aura of prostitution. I also think anklets are cute, but nobody ever wears them, and it never really caught on.
On the flip side, what are you glad is popular now? I love the fact that the lip gloss sector exploded within the last decade.

Maybe it's because I grew up in the 80s, but legwarmers and cute socks both make me hot...

Low rise jeans seem to be going out for women, which I consider a travesty. I never liked the high rise pants of the 80s and early 90s that produced that little pouch area in the crotch region, especially those that were pleated (shudders). Women have magnificent forms and they should proudly show them. With their clothes, if they must.

I'm pretty happy with what's in fashion right now. I love wide legged jeans and I hate skinny jeans.
I love platform heels, but I do think that wedges should come back - they're so much easier to wear (and not to mention very cute)! I think there's a time and a place for everything, wearing a miniskirt to an evening event is a no-no, but wearing one at home to show your legs off to your boyfriend, or to a photoshoot, works. |

Hmm..I'm also pretty happy with what's in style now. Thought I think the legwarmers under skirts thing is just wierd. I would love to see lipstick make a come back with my age group.

I also miss skirts and platform shoes on the women, but my wife is nice enough to make that happen at our home, so not so bad.

My wife just bought some actually to go with a really short dress when we head back to Wisconsin this month (much colder than here, so she can't wear the dress with nothing on her legs).

The first thing I thought of was corsets. I realize women haven't worn those daily for a long time, but I wish they would come back into every day style.
I really liked those super short tennis skirts that were in style a couple summers ago. I don't like the super baggy shirts that seem to be in style now. |

I second the corset.
I will also suggest crimped hair, or maybe even "the bob." Poodle skirts, and V-neck sweaters. Maybe even saddle shoes. Oh, bustle skirts, tournures, and peaking petticoats! Oh, my!

Oddly I was never a fan of the low rise jeans, maybe it's the muffin top that goes with 96.3% of them
Skirts!!! yeahhhh Stockings=Viagra++++ Tennis skirts must've been given by God Himself. Of 126 seen this past summer only 4 asses didn't look good in them. No really, those thing are lingerie, right Remember those doily lace, button up the neck, puffy sleeve, Ice Queen blouses? Yeah those |

Is it wrong that I go giddy over fishnet stockings? Especially underneath calf-length skirts?

See, PVC ruined spandex for me. What can I say, I like shiny objects.

I think more women should wear tank tops. There is something really hot about a girl wearing one and nothing else or a really conspicuous bra.
High heals are considered rather slutty around town. Allot of women forego them in turn for more practical shoes. Though a pair of sexy leg in heals can absolutely make my day. Think of it as community service! |
