dammit. And I thought we had resolved that hair is good. As for sexy clothes: Does anybody remember the short kilt-skirt over grey or black stockings or tights? Very autumnal, and soft looking. Last edited by Leto; 12-12-2007 at 12:48 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Damn it Willravel you beat me to togas, though I must say having worn a proper toga for Halloween it is way harder than it looks.
Though I like wearing a skimpier formal outfit, the idea that I had my legs in the wind all day, wearing what amounted to a short skirt and a large draped piece of wool and I could with a straight face call it formal wear works for me. Amen to skirts, why does no one wear them anymore, they look so good, they feel so good, they are fun to play around in. And their made in heaven companion the Tie-Dye. Nothing looks better then a hippie skirt and tie dye on a buxom young female. |

I'm quite a fan of the movies like 300 where the women wear dresses made of a rope and a sheet. Those should come back..whether or not they actually ever existed.

Shirts without a built-in waistband. Those things look like maternity dresses unless the girl wearing it is 20 pounds underweight, and not only is that not healthy, I don't like seeing a lot of ribs unless she's stretching or bending in a way that accentuates them.

Although I should add that the amount of girls who have absolutely no idea what sort of skirt looks good on them is staggering. this one's for you, ex. Last edited by hrandani; 12-18-2007 at 04:10 PM.. |

I don't know anything about what is and is not fashionable now, or what I would want to see come back. However I will always remember that glorious first warm spring day in 2002 when I was in college walking around campus and half the girls I saw were wearing denim skirts. I hadn't seen a denim skirt in probably 15 years before that day, and I have never been, nor probably ever will be, so happy to see something come back in style.

I'll be pleased if pantyhose go out of style to be replaced by garterbelt and stockings.
While I do enjoy corsets, I enjoy waist cinchers even more. And what's that garment that's common at renaissance faires, worn over the shirt that wraps under the bosom? Sort of like a corset, a bodice, maybe? Those are nice. I am down with the bright red lipstick. I'm happy with the dark red lipsticks too. I'll be happy to see pink go away. Choker necklaces. Hot Pants. A jumpsuit can be done oh so right or oh so wrong. Bib Overalls. Not so down with the loincloth. How about a penis gourd? / Not really, I just wanted to say penis gourd. Looking all this over, what I'd really like to see come back in style is women dressing to be sexy to men. I appreciate that women dress mostly for each other, but it would be nice if they started competing over who could be sexiest rather than who could be most beautiful/fashionable.

yoga pants can be pretty hot,
garters, very very hot and skirts, both long, short and in between... and corsets can be way hot as well... looked at some with GG when we were at the ren fair, very hot... too bad they're so expensive.

I've recently seen two women wearing large framed 80's style eyeglasses.
God help us if those are coming back in fashion.

I was dragged along to Enchanted last week, and while watching it, I got reminded of this thread. This type of dresses always have my vote. Lovely view all-round. Maybe not in the "fuck me here and now"-way, but still.
