when do you think is the right time for...

some one to explore various sexual avenues. meaning how old is too old or too young to be \"a man about town\" or \"a young lady eploring the world\"?

i personally think that some one in their 20\'s(20-29) and early 30\'s (30-35) is perfect to be doin whatever, where ever, and WHOever...

I think a better question would be "why isn't it ok for someone to explore?" Personally, I think that it's always ok for someone to explore "various sexual avenues", with the caveat that they need to be mature enough to handle the results, whatever those may be.

I don't think there's a set age. It all depends on the person.

I wanted to try things at a younger age, while I think it's fine and I respect anyone who wants to wait.

We're all different. I started exploring sexuality at a very young age, and I'm still the same person, so I'm still looking for new things. I'm 49 now, so I doubt if I'll ever grow bored with sex and things sexual.

Well I'm wondering how your single- and double-quotes got escaped like that. Do you write a lot of SQL?

Nobody's too old for anything.

Except maybe to be born.

And puberty. That too.

I don't think there is a definitive answer because as someone mature interest change. what a 20-year old wants to explore is not the same as a 35-year old

I think I wanted to explore the same things at that age, I just wasn't as emotionally equipped. Your mileage may vary.

It's tricky to say really.

I became sexually active when I was 15, which some have considered too young. Well, by that I mean I first started having sex when I was 15.

My first sexual experience, believe it or not, happened when I was seven with another boy.

I definitely feel that having sex before you're say 14/15 is not cool, by all means, fool around, but sex deserves a lot more reverence, respect, and responsibility than just fooling around.

I don't really have an issue with people who wait for various reasons, as long as they themselves believe in and are confident of those reasons.

You should explore you're feelings of "lust" and adventure at any age. Why let those two little numbers define what you're going to do?

squeeeb 10-03-2007 08:16 PM

i think when you start thinking about it and want to know more, you are ready to go...people mature at different times and ages...there is no magical age when EVERYONE is ready...

This is the perfect answer. I tried to think of something else, but this says it so succintly.

I don't think its a question of age at all, but personal thoughts and preferences. If you're 20 and you prefer to be monogamous, good for you, if you're 50 and you enjoy "exploring" go for it! An exploring spirit shouldn't be held down by age or any other synthetic stereotype...

Again everyone is different, No matter what the age or how willing someone is to try something they still might not be prepared for the act when it happens, gotta love those human emotions we have. More or less some people might 'go with the flow' and others will seek what they want

Sometimes you get burnt out when you're older.

You've done it all. Like that Weezer song.

"Tired of sex." You just wanna talk.
