Spray on condoms
so I was watching the premier of CSI New York and part of the "evidence" was latex left from spray on condoms.
After Dave and I looking at each other kinda strange I started googling to see what this was about, I found a few websites on it. I've never heard of this...the "draw" is supposed to be a customized condom that is not "generic" in size and will fix the person. Now I could never try this as I am allergic to latex but I wondered if anyone else would. There are many links to this, here are just a couple http://www.gizmag.com/go/6534/ http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,234098,00.html Daniel do you have any information on this that you could share? |
Fascinating. I suppose if you were paranoid, you could spray and then put a condom on.

We were offered something very similar to this product by a Chinese company a couple of years ago. Instead of spaying the man, it was in the form of expanding foam filler that goes into the vagina.
There is not a cat in hell's chance that this device would pass CE certification (Europe) FDA approcal (USA), SABS (South Africa) or any other major western testing. The chances of missing a spot are too high. Even if you could get the technology to work, your company's lawyers wouldn't let you launch the product because the chance that someone who didn't use the product correctly and then got pregnant or HIV would sue you is almost 100%. Also - the bulbous end of a condom is essential for catching the ejaculate. If you spray the latex onto the cock, thenhow do you form the teat? Two final points. Vulcanising gives rubber strength. Vulcanising takes a few minutes in an oven. Latex condoms are pre-lubricated to stop them chafing and breaking. If you used condom in a spray can, you have to interupt foreplay to spray it on, carry a large can and extra lube, wait five minutes for it to set, and then get jiggy. Who the f_ck is going to buy that? The product is technically interesting, but there is NO demographic that will buy a $10 spraycan when they can buy a 50c condom that is easier to use, more reliable, more fun, and can fit in your back jeans pocket. |

Just imagine: Rhino Liner or Line-X spray-on truck liners have a new market audience!
They're totally ribbed for her pleasure! |

Interesting idea. I could have used that way back when I was between sizes.

My ex-friend went to burning man back in 1999 and he covered his body with latex after he had shaved his body hair. Then he talked a woman into having sex with him with no condom. This is the IQ of my ex-friend and why he an ex. Of course, he could have been a pathological liar, but I didn't want to keep him close to find out.

Awesome. Pure genius. |
I have to agree with Daniel as to how impractical that would be. I see 2 other problems, with a spray on condom.
1. How do you make that little space at the tip? 2. What happens if some of the rubber gets into your urethra's opening? |
I don't think it takes a lot of basic common sense to see how this would be both mechanically unsound and quite possibly dangerous.
If these became popular the lawsuits would be quite entertaining. |
It supposedly dries in one second.
So what I assume happens is that you spray it on, let it dry, fuck, step into the shower to peel it off, spill jizz everywhere because it won't slide off, then wish you were dead because it solidified around your pubic hair, which is now sitting on the floor of the shower tangled in the "condom." |
