So, was talking to the gf the other day, and she mentioned that she sees shapes and colors when she orgasms. I already am quite aware that the female orgasm is leaps and bounds above that of the male, but I was curious if anyone else experienced this. She mentioned that she could see snowflakes, feel our souls, see things at the molecular level, and a few other things. It all sounded so beautiful, and I am sad that I will never have that. Nonetheless I was wondering if this is common among women.

I would guess that "seeing things" would relate to a bit of hyperventilation and lack of oxygen, which can happen at orgasm. Or perhaps blood rushing to the head, depending on one's position.

It could be possible that your girlfriend is experiencing a form of Synesthesia.

It's quite common, and comes in many different forms. Some of the more extreme cases of Synesthesia are truly fascinating.

Not to that extent. When I orgasm it's as though I can hear / smell / feel / see / taste everything all at once though, it's kinda overwhelming.

Well, what I'm wondering is if those ribbed condoms actually do anything to increase the sensation for the girl or if it's all just a gimmick... I used one for my first (and only) time, and am wondering if it helped at all or if she was still bored out of her mind.

Hey, I know it has been a while and I was wondering if you found any info on this. There have been a couple of times when I have climaxed and saw crazy things. I told smrt once that I know if I am going to be able to have an orgasm because when I close my eyes I will see patterns and colors. Almost like an abstract quilt pattern. It is very cool and if I concentrate on it I can prolong the orgasm and make it last longer.

What you guys are describing sounds like closed eye visuals. I also experience them on occasion but not every time I orgasm. I never knew how to describe it until I started hanging out with had-been-drug users but this type of hallucination is really common with some drugs.

I've never heard of a guy experiencing visuals during orgasm (not sober at least). I would be curious to know if a guy has experienced this though!

Plenty of women I've slept with have told me they did, but I just thought it was from the roofies I slipped them before I took them home :P

Seriously though, I've never heard of this... You women have it good; if having an orgasm made me trip I'd probably never leave the house.
