So here's the question:

What if your homemade / amateur with previous partner got on the internet?

The premise is that you have broken up / split with your partner, and your partner is a jerk who then releases the video of both of you, onto the internet (amateur porn sites, sex blogs, his/her own blog?! etc)

What would you do?

Would you tell yourself that: "there's so much shit/porn on the internet, and we are not really good looking like porn stars, so there's not much to worry about.. it'll all get washed away into the depths of the internet obscurity"

Or would you tell yourself: "holy shit. i'm so fucked. now every person i see on the street might recognize me" <--- this case is really unrealistic, but for the anal overthinker types, it might occur.

Or the worst case: "holy shit now everyone i know has seen this"

This last option... to release them to mutual friends/family would seem to be REALLY stupid.. since you would definitely find out and you can sue them to HELL, right??

I would tend to think that it'll get washed into internet obscurity, and noone cares to watch someone's 15-20 (or 30, 60, etc lol) min crappy home video with no closeups, just one angle, and crappy sex; to top it off, most people don't look that good that other people want to watch them anyways!

How would you guys react if your ex-partner (secretly) released your videos?

Although i've broken the following rule myself once or twice, a good friend of mine once told me:

"Never make a record of yourself in any vice. Don't record, write, or take pictures of the yourself engaged in sex, drugs, or alchohol. Legal or not, it never ends up good."

I don't entirely agree with it, but it's a good premise = )

P.S. to add my own. I won't record anything about me that I actually care if anyone knows. "A secret told is one no more."

LOL, I think given that I'm so sexually inactive, if people I knew saw it they'd all be stunned.

I'd just be worried about my folks seeing it, but they're not very internet savy so It's not likely to happen.

My only real fear would be if a current partner stumbled across it and freaked out (and rightly so).

i've seen so many amateur flick, they all roll together, if you make a big deal, and try to get it removed, it will quickly become something big, otherwise, it will join it's buddies in the halls of the internet

I'd be pissed, because the act of sex is much more intimate, and there is more trust involved, than say, riding a rollercoaster. But overall I'd go with the first option.

Well..when JStrider and I's photos got leaked to some random website I had a short period of panic. The thought of my dad seeing those really upset me.
But since then we've watermarked and all has been well that we know of...oh and the website that had them posted took them down only after 4,000 people downloaded them (shakes head)

If my partner posted them, I wouldnt really care. My main concern in them being leaked would be my partner being embarassed or feeling exposed.

But if it was them responsible - I would probably just find it amusing, since by definition they wouldnt be upset I'd have nothing to worry about.

On my life, i cant think of a single person who would want to look at my naked ass, but if they do... well, I suppose you can find people into almost anything these days, it wouldnt upset me. I wouldnt be bothered about my mates of people I know seeing them either. I'm not an exhibishinist of any kind... but if people actively seek the stuff out, I cant see how they can hold me to blame for it. Im sure people at work of mates would have a laugh about it, but I think I could take it.

I have to admit to a taping or two, but most of those got deleted when the relationship ended. If they did end up on the net, I probably wouldn't care, because it's true that the deal is only as big as you make it. If a future partner were to find it, I'd simply ask why she felt the need to watch anything on the net in the first place.

Yea that's true...but unfortunately I do know he looks at porn...blegh.
I found a thumb drive with like 2 Gs worth of porn on it he accidentally left in the kitchen before going on a trip. He totally owes me for saving him from my mom.

Honestly I wouldn't care one bit if something of me got on the internet. I figure, it's the internet, there are billions of people I don't know for every one person I do know who might see it. Even if someone I know was to see and ask me about it I would just tell them to have fun watching it.

I'm not ashamed of my sex life by any means.

That said, my current partner doesn't keep anything like that around for more than a few minutes and my past partners don't have anything so I don't have to worry about it anyways.

When I was with my first fiance, he was stationed over seas. I made him a couple videos, a calendar, and sent I dont' know how many photos over there. He died and I never saw them again. I don't know where they are and I really don't care too much. I think it would be hilarious to see it now since it's been nearly 10 years.

As for my parents seeing my photos, I don't think I'd care too much and I don't think I'd hear about it if they did. Hell, my dad wanted to get me a portfolio and start a modeling career for me and we joked about Playboy. I have a strange family.

Also, my last shoot might possibly be displayed in an art show. So, no, I don't care too much. I don't put anything up that I don't want others to see or am ashamed of in anyway.

Life is too short to worry about stuff like that.
