I am very curious to know other male attitudes towards anal sex with women.

Specifically, do you as a normal heterosexual male desire anal sex or not? (I.e. to penetrate a woman)

The reason I ask is because I enjoy anal sex from time to time with a woman. I view it as a bit of a kink, there is something a bit nasty about it, however, I consider it a fairly normal male desire.

A woman that I was recently dating seemed to feel that my desire for anal sex was definitely a minority position among the general male population. She seemed to feel that only a small percentage of men out there desire to penetrate their woman's peach. My position was (and is) that most men at least desire anal sex from time to time to down right live for it.

Hence my totally scientific poll here.

I would like to know how many men on here desire anal sex, and how many don't desire it, and how many are disgusted by it and would never do it.

Women, feel free to pipe in, I'll set up some questions for you too.

I dated a girl that was way into it. That got me way in to it. My girlfriend now hates it. So I don't much care anymore.

Im assuming the female choices are for women who want it, not women who give it so there is no option for me (unless Im wrong)

I'm not a fan of anal intercourse. I'll do it for her pleasure if she asks, but I would never initiate it as I find it a bit disgusting, personally. It's just not my cup of tea. Nothing even comes close to vaginal intercourse.

Not judging you, however, if you have never done it, how would you know what it felt like to be able to make the comparison to vaginal sex that "nothing even comes close"???

As to the feeling, it's different, more like the initial penetration is extremely different, however, the ultimate sensations are fairly similar (i.e. vaginal / anal).

It's a different process, different penetration and hugely kinky.

I always figure there is a perfectly good vagina in that general vicinity anyway so... I've just never been a fan of it. I don't find it disgusting, just not the better of the available bodily orifices.

It is not about the actual feeling of the sex, it is all in the head (the one on top of the shoulders).
I believe that there are two main reasons that men want anal sex.
- It is taboo - Maybe not as much in society as it used to be but in private in the bedroom it still may be taboo. Extending the limits, doing new things is exciting.
- It tells you that she is really into sex. Nothing is more exciting them a girl who really wants it. Taking it anally tells me (I don't know if you get the same message) that she is really into it. Who would have sex this way if they did not want it.

What is even more exciting is if she asks for it (see the 18 year old above).

I'm female and voted for the "I am female and I'd do it only to please my man, but hope he wouldn't ask" option. I have had anal sex once, and it was not really something I remember a whole lot about as I was completely inebrieated that night. I was very sore the next day. It's not something I want to do again. For some reason it just doesn't turn me on although I'm not judgemental about it. I may consider trying it again with someone, but would just prefer not to ever again. I've had a finger in there and whatnot and had no pleasure whatsoever, so I think I'm just not turned on by the bum stuff.
