I'm going to get my haircut tomorrow night...that is if I've recovered from this sucky cold enough by then.
Since I've gone through the nightmare of growing my bangs out, I'm going to try something new that I've always liked...the side-parted bob. Of course, with my own natural blonde haircolor. I like this haircut because it is both classic and sexy. But, you know, I tell mi amor about the haircut yesterday and I get the 'awww, you're cutting your hair?' Which would be fine if I hadn't been talking about it for months with his total support, lol. Why can't you guys just say what you want? But anywho, he's okay. I know he'll like it. As long as he can get his hands in it we'll be fine. And I will look closer to my age...I took my photo id for school a couple of weeks ago and I was horrified to see that I look about the age of 14. Yeah, time for a haircut. The downside to this being I will have to blow my hair dry. Ugh. I hate that.

Mixedmedia, that will look super cute! I got mine like that awhile ago and I loved it! My boyfriend said it was his favorite look on me, so I'm sure yours will absolutely love it too.
It's a lot of upkeep - going to the salon to get it trimmed every month or so, and blowdrying it. I had to straighten mine a lot too becuase my hair is naturally wavy. But, it was worth it! |

Looks like it's one stiff breeze away from boy-bangs.
That there is a studio-style, not meant for everyday usage.

There are some styles that I just don't like. A woman who has all of her hair in braids turns me off, reminds me too much of the Medusa, from the 70s movie Clash of the Titans, (as well as in mythology) cutting it very short is also a turn-off for me. Her hair should be styled and present a feminine appearance. If her hair meets that standard, and doesn't fall into a style I specifically don't like (on a lady) she's good to go.
I do have a preference for longer thicker hair over shorter hair. Bangs are nice too. A woman can have hair of either length and look good though, depends on the woman in question, some simply look better one way vs the other, to my eye. Here's an example of a really good looking hairstyle on Mariah Carey IMO. An even better one can be found on the back cover of her Daydream Album I personally wear my hair cut short, with the sides and back being shorter than the top, brushed back. My hair is somewhat wavy in texture. Last edited by Terrell; 04-17-2008 at 01:35 AM.. |
