Depends on the personality. Some people enjoy the spontaneous first kiss with a new date. I personally hate it because I don't feel too close when we still call each other "date" instead of "boy/girlfriend".

Maybe pay attention to body language? I've been told I look very reserved.

It's strange really. I can't explain it, but sometimes when you talk to a girl for a while in a bar or something, sitting down next to each other, it just happens, but you both make the move at the same time naturally, without responding to the other's movement, or thinking it through.

Well, the girls I fuck don't normally allow kissing. Unless you pay extra. And even then I know they aren't really into it.

Um, so when a kiss is not spontaneous, how does that go? Only scenario I can think of is one person asking the other whether they can kiss them - is that what you mean?

I like a first kiss after a good conversation, where you've learned a little more about the other person and a bond has been created. When you look at the other person's eyes and are silent for a moment, a kiss feels right. I like it to be more surprising too, when I'm not quite expecting it.

i'd say its those moments where you're talking together in an isolated place and the conversation kind of trails off... the key is to plant the kiss close to the end of the conversation so it hasn't become an awkward silence and the kiss kind of fits as punctuation.

I can't help but think of my first kiss with the fellow I'm seeing now. The situation was pretty standard (end of the first date), but I wasn't expecting a kiss, and the setting was beautiful. He walked me to my car, and we exchanged hugs. A light snow was beginning to fall, and I gave him a quick peck on the cheek. He grinned, leaned down, and kissed me. Maybe the situation wasn't *ideal*, but it was about as perfect of a first kiss as I can remember.

After I have rescued a girl from a dangerous situation with an act of extreme rugged manliness, and in an ideal world, have sustained minor injuries of some kind.

To answer the question, you kind of have to create the moment. Sitting around passively waiting for 'the Right Time' means you'll never do it. Wait until she indicates she's ready and just go for broke.

My first kiss with Magpie is one of our funny stories. We went out to a movie, then went back to what was then my apartment. We had the right moment, I could feel that vibe... then, just as I was leaning in, my computer made a noise and she jumped. Moment ruined.

So I just told her I wanted to kiss her. She said okay, and that was that.
