Sex Smells
Now that i have your attention with that witty title, here is a link to a fox news website about the idea that pheramones are what attract us to members of the opposite sex. It is an intersting read. I personlly think it is true, but what do yall think?

I think you forgot the link.
Even without reading it, I've seen shows about it and read articles. There might be some truth to it. I mean, we're animals and that's how they attract the opposite sex anyway. I don't disregard it.

I see no reason to doubt this... smell is one of the strongest memory triggers.
I'd be able to pick the smell of my wife out of a smell line up, no question. It's a smell that I associate with great comfort. She says the same about me. She made me sleep in a couple of shirts while I was home for Christmas so she could wear them to bed after I was gone. She says she likes the smell.

"Sex smells", indeed. Part of the problem I had with my ex was that the poor guy smelled terrible, and nothing he did could change that. Any sweat at all would leave him and the room positively stinking and that wasn't conducive to much physical closeness at all. Even now when I see him and get a hug, that smell is enough to turn my stomach.
With ratbastid and lurkette, though- totally different story. RB can be gone for a weekend, and if I catch a little scent of something as mundane as his soap I'm both comforted and excited. And lurkette wears this ridiculously good-smelling perfume that kinda sticks to you if you hug her, so I'm left with a grin on my face all day after that. Yeah, scent's a powerful thing, no argument here.

I've read about studies where men sniffed womens shirts during different times of the month. The men liked the smell best when women were most fertile. Interesting.

I had an ex that no matter what, she smelled like stale booze and cigarettes. At the time it was a huge turn off. Now, every time I get even a hint of the same smell... a flood of sexual memories come back to haunt me for t he next week.
Damn I miss that girl.

Interestingly, the scent the spouse used to have is gone and what replaced it is, sexually, repulsive. I used to sleep on his pillow when he was away-now I can't be near it. I don't think the scent stayed the same, it literally changed for the worse.

Believe it or not some company in Germany is selling a perfume that is supposed to smell like vaginal secretions. They call the product <what else?> "VULVA."
