I think its the same as with any other type of relationship; depends on timing and how comfortable you are with your sexuality. If you're not comfortable being a sub, you're more likely to want a professional service where you have some semblance of being able to control when you're not in control. If you've come to terms with your submissive tendencies, I'd think its much more likely you'd want that level of full lifestyle inclusiveness. Honestly, I can't imagine putting up with that shit 24/7, but each to their own. Then again, I'm much more of a give and take kind of guy. i think for me personally, its a combination of 1. i'm an incorrigible smartass, and 2. most of the people i've known who were into the dominant end of the bdsm (and i'm not claiming i've got my finger on the pulse of that population) have a tendency to carry it with them into other facets of their lives. they like to be in control. sometimes they can get away with it - they're very intense, they're very intelligent, they're blonde with big tits and an asshole that tastes like french vanilla ice cream, but usually it falls flat for me. i suppose your op felt a little like that - you had a question, you wanted it answered in a certain way, and no bullshit about it. so i think you sort of asked for people to come in and make comments
