Okay, so I've recently become okay with digital with my girlfriend, and as I was fingering her, I think I reached the end. There's this circular...knob? With a small hole in the middle. Is this the cervix?

If it is, I have a problem. My fingers are easily reaching this, and they're like 4 inches long? I'm between 6 and 7 inches long, depending on the day and method of measuring. Um...am I going to have problems running into this? I thought it was only a problem if you were like 10+ inches long...

So, another thought: is it possible she's not turned on enough? I -think- she is, but hell, what do I know. If she's not turned on enough, then I'm in just as much of a prob, 'cause I'm not doing my job right ;).

The average girl is about 9 inches deep. I really don't think to many me have a problem hitting bottom.

So is it really likely that what I'm touching is the cervix? I read in another thread that someone's cock ring fell off and circled round the cervix - so that leads me to believe that this was it. But then why can I reach it with my fingers, easily?

From what I've felt, I would have to say that yes its the cervix.

I've felt my own cervix, and yes, what you're feeling is it.

I'm not feeling my cervix right now though. It's not very pleasant to touch; it feels weird. The cervix can only feel pressure, so it's a very odd sensation. Yuck. Also--don't bump it too much. While it itself can only feel pressure, it is a muscle and does tend to tug on the tissues around it, or bump up into the uterus. Not pleasant feelings, I do assure you.

Please be gentle with your lady. Tissue damage to the cervix can cause abnormalities that can be detected in her next or future pap exams. Also, her sexual response is more likely to be enhanced by clitoral stimulation rather than deep penetration at this time.

If she is "turned on enough" she will be wet with vaginal secretions. You really don't want to cause friction to her most sensitive areas if they are dry to your touch, because it can be painful.

It sounds like you are both exploring your mutual sexuality for the first time and the best recommendation that I can give you is that you share with each other what feels good and what doesn't.

Elphaba, I can assure you I'm being gentle :). Unfortunately, she doesn't go to a gynecologist, so no pap smears for her ;_;. And I'm not trying solely to turn her on with exploring, it's more...exploring ^_^. Um, as to being turned on enough, she's -quite- wet.
