Met my wife when she was working as a teller at a bank AND she worked for my mother!
Sent a note asking her out through the drive-thru tubes. Married 20+ years so far!

We met through a mutual friend at a concert at a place I did volunteer work at. We went out later and tipped a few.
She blew off work the next day to go golfing with me. Married 13 years.

We have been married for 6 years, but have been together for 10. We met when in college.....I fell for an amazing redhead singing in an acapella group. It took nearly a year to ask her out.....I asked if I could cook dinner for her......together ever since. Good luck!

My ex and I met in college while singing in the choir together. Her friend passed a dirty note back...well...it's an interesting story (true).
Anyway, just get involved in things you like doing, you'll meet someone.

I met my wife in first year of Uni. One of my acquaintences was trying to pick her up. I saw her a couple of weeks later and told her she had shown great taste in turning the other fella down. We started going out then. She was 17 and I was 18. Got married when we were 22 and 23. We've been married 12 years this year.
Can't really say when I knew she was the one. Probably about 5 years ago . After we'd been married 5 years I thought maybe I'd made a mistake, going out with one girl, getting married etc. Did a lot of soul searching and stuff, which was pretty miserable for both of us. She was patient enough to wait for me to wake up. I did, and I've never been happier in my marriage than I am now. |

My wife and I were both working at a theme park. She was selling food, I was a security guard. A fellow security guard pointed her out, and told me how gorgeous he thought she was. I told him to just walk up and talk to her, but he was too shy. I offered to walk up there with him, and we did. I didn't even introduce myself...I just said "This is Matt, what's your name?". She thought that was cute as hell. Matt determined that he wasn't interested. She showed up the next day at my post with a rose... 7 years later we got married.

Met my wife when her family moved into the house next door.
After that I hung out with her brother all the time, and spent a lot of time around their place, and then one day came to the realization that I knew her pretty well, and still liked her. 14 years in June. |

Met Hubby (Dei37) at college. We both worked in the computer lab and became friends but he was hot after another chick then. About 3 years later - I was computer tech and he was just wandering around looking for someone to talk to one day. (He wasn't attending anymore but his Dad was a professor there.) We talked for about 3-4 hours and hit it off. His Dad was even my main professor for my major. I'd like to think that wasn't affected by my dating his son. Who knows.

Aaah... these are sweeet stories.
I was with a girl for almost 3 years, and she left me and started dating an asexual guy that I knew the entire time I was with her, but they are having intimate relations now. She really did a 180, I wanted to get married but she never wanted to... hrm... I was soo nice, but she just is attracted to people with tatoos and piercings and well.. dirtbags. This guy was a big drug addict, he's clean now supposedly, but still is a racist/fascist. Oh well. I hope to have a good clean relationship ahead of me. |

My wife and I met at a party. A very annoying woman at the party realized we were both single so she was giving it to us all night about how we should go out... of course all of her friends joined in as well. To shut them up I looked at my future wife and asked if she wanted to go out sometime... she said "sure". Both of us were just trying to turn the subject away from us. But then we got to talking and at the end of the night I seriously asked her out and she said yes. Six months later we were engaged.
To answer the followups: We were 29 and 28. I knew she was the one about 15 days after we met when she looked at me and said "I'm going to marry you aren't I?" I didn't crap my pants... so I said "yeah, I think so" :-) |

We were both in various theatre groups around town. She had dated a couple of my buddies so we were always around each other. We finally got together when she got the female lead and I got the male lead in a corny western. We have been toghether 25 years this summer.

we met at work, it seems these days as though that is what happens to a lot of people,
didn't expect anything to happen, just shared a cab home and we ended up crashing on something intense. Only problem we were both married at the time..... 8 years on I am the happiest I have ever been and we have two very happy active children who drive me mad...
