I'm not at all surprised I'm not the only one in this position, match000, it's not so hard to imagine this situation happenening to anybody. When I chose my degree, the lack of female interaction was a comfort as I was deathly shy at the time. I would get nervous sitting next to a girl on the bus. What a loser I was.

Xera and 101010(??) that makes a lot of sense, especially the "Out of sight, out of mind" point. That's something I'll have to work on for sure. Generally, it's meant "Out of sight, only thing on my mind." Somebody please bitchslap me.

Again, thanks for all the advice everybody. It really helped me get it off my chest and hear that I'm not so 'unique' with these troubles. For a few months I felt as though I was some sort of freak for still being single. But I think I'm on the right track at least putting myself in social settings and interacting with people, making acquaintances at least. I think for the moment, at least, I need to focus on getting myself some friend-girls to hang out with once in a while. After I'm done with school and no longer sitting on a pile of trash, papers and laundry because I'm working until midnight or later, I can go out and look for some activities. I've made a list of a few things I want to learn, so I'm going to join some dance classes, check out Toastmasters International, try my hand at Krav Maga, and take some art classes for the hell of it. Heck, if I met people UP TO NOW, I should have no problem with my current plan.:)

I made a habit of getting an off-concentration 100-level "fluff" class every semester. If you're in an field with very few women, it might help to get you out of your sausage party mentality. If nothing else, it'll add some variety to your class load.

3) I'm jealous of girls for point #2 above.
4) I feel that college (which is over in a month for me) was a huge missed opportunity which I'll never have again.
5) I have yet to meet an attractive single girl.
6) I feel like destroying a car with my bare hands due to all reasons above.

1. I take it you are not looking for a "girlfriend." It sounds like you want a Long Term Relationship. Two different things
2. This is a limiting belief. Get rid of it. Get the mindset that you are the prize. Choose who it is you want to give attention to
3. Refer to #2
4. Just because you graduate does not mean that college is over. Take community college classes in courses you are interested in. There is no written rule saying that school is over.
5. You have high standards. Do not settle.
6. I will sell you mine for Seven thousand Dollars.

If you are a collector of impressionist paintings would you go to the mall, looking to buy one?

Yes, a very simple solution to the problem of lack of girls in classes.

Unfortunately, I was so hardcore in engineering, chasing the good grades, that I did not do so. How I regret it now.

Its not a complete solution but it sure does help alot..

This sounds like decent advice but there is a way to do things genuinely and less cynically. She doesnt have to be the center of your universe but you have to make her feel that way, but not by "making shit up". Just treat her well and integrate her into your life so you can continue things more or less how they were but she is a part of it. If you have a circle of friends introduce her to them. That will probably make her very happy plus you can continue to see your friends.

Well, heck, if you're looking for women in college just enroll in pharmacy school. It's hell for four years, but classes are 50-60% women! Misery loves company and you can always find some cutie to commiserate with!
