biking in buff
There's a whole organization about biking in the buff. For real. I saw a
nude bike riding article about it. Wouldn't that hurt? I wouldn't want to ride offroad. |

That's just wrong...plastic bike seat under a bare butt? That's gotta hurt...not to mention slippery if sweating...and what if you're a woman and have lascivious thoughts all of a sudden?

Rest assured that this bike DID have a seat. However, I once rode a seatless bike down the side of a mountain in Colorado. I wanted to ride down but my girlfriend decided to drive back down. I had taken the seat off my bike to keep it from getting dirty. She took off in the car before I could get her attention that I'd forgotten the seat. THAT was fun. I would have stood up most of the way anyway ... but still, I had no options. This was in the days before cell phones were ubiquitous. |

Hmmm, interesting.
I too wonder about the whole friction thing, but from the website that I looked at, it seemed like it wasn't a problem. Interesting indeed.

i was in san francisco a couple months ago when more of these guys than I'd hope anyone would see in a lifetime went riding by. yeah, "guys" is a pretty appropriate term, and they didn't exactly look like Michelangelo's David either. why is it that the least attractive people are always the most shameless?

The naked night ride in Boulder is... uh.. a sight to see. Heh. It's part of the "World Naked Bike Ride" (http://www.worldnakedbikeride.org/). See also: http://wiki.worldnakedbikeride.org/i...?title=Boulder for the Boulder, CO one. I only saw part of the 2005 one by accident.
