Would you go to a strip club with your co-workers?
 

But let's say you are on a trip to Vegas, and your co-workers are of the opposite gender. So, if you are a guy, would you go with 6-10 of your female co-workers to a male strip club? Or if you are a woman, would you go with a group of guys you knew from work and got along with well?

For me, a male strip club wouldn't do anything for me, I can look down and see it for free. It would kind of be like hanging out in the locker room, but with more women. If they really, really wanted me to come, I don't have a problem with it, but would probably just watch the ladies have a good time and wouldn't notice the guys that much.

Most guys would get all masculine and say "Nah fuck that" and take another sip of their beer.

Personally, I don't know, i guess it depends on what's going to happen next. Or if the girls a likely to get righteously drunk and end up stripping themselves :P

Why not? Shits and giggles is about the only reason I see to go to a strip club in the first place. If the ladies I was going with were fun people it would be a blast to watch them if nothing else.

For a few years I worked on Wall Street, and it was pretty common for the boys to go to a strip club after work - i got invited on a bunch of occassions and went - it was no biggie... entertainment... getting together with friends for some fun and alcohol...

Lap dances - I think are pretty skeevey though.

Places like Chippendales are just weird - A bunch of naked men bouncing around isn't sexy - especially when you know that the majority of them aren't straight anyhow... so - yawn - who cares... Pretty boys do nothing for me and it's really not entertaining.

Women get wilder in those situations than men do.

I wouldn't go, because I have no interest in watching a naked man cavort around for my entertainment. And if I change my mind, I have mirrors in my house.

I've never been to a strip club, because I don't want to pay some girl to pretend that she's interested in me.

However, going with a bunch of women to a male strip show? Only if the women weren't my co-workers, and only if I was trying to get into the pants of one of those girls. (Don't dip your pen in the company ink!)

I'm not quite sure I understand your poll, so to answer the question directly:

I'd go to a club where there were male strippers. In fact I have gone to one. I'd rather not go to one where they show their private parts. I just don't want to see those on any guy except my guy.

I wouldn't go to one with female strippers, because I don't see the point - for me. I'd go if there was a group who really wanted to and I was with them, but I' wouldn't care much for it I'm sure.

Actually, it depends on the co-workers! Some, I would, but others... too stuffy. They're the ones that claim to be all upright citizens but are really dirty lecherous types, so I wouldn't want to be in any kind of non-work situation with them. But other work friends are awesome and it would be very amusing. It's just a night out with some naked people, after all!

I answered "no" because none of my female co-workers are the strip club type. I might go if some of the women were old college friends or something like that.

In the past I have been to a few times. If I were with a bunch of hot women and they wanted to go to a male strip club, uhhh not sure, if I thought that I was going to get some from one the ladies that I was going with, maybe that would tilt me into going.

My exwife is now a stripper. I heard many many stories of all the assholes that come into these joints. Cause of her I really lost all desire of ever stepping foot in a tittie bar again.

I actually have once, but that was when I was freelancing as a stagehand. We were pretty much glorified construction workers and all men, so it wasn't a big deal.

I did lose a bit of respect for one co-worker that night. When I was leaving towards the end of the night. He handed me his debit card and asked me to go across the street to the bank machine and withdraw $200 so he could stay longer!

The amount of money those places wring out of you is reason enough to avoid them.

Would I go now with some of my corporate co-workers? I'd have to judge the situation and guage to potential for awkward debauchery. If it was a couple of the sane ones and only for a lark, sure. I'd never go with anyone who wasn't mature enough and never, ever with the boss.

It would depend most of all on the women that wanted to go. I think that it could be a lot of fun. I would have to include a "No stage front seats for me" and "No lap-dance for me, thank you(do they do that at male strip clubs?)" clause....... I would be there strictly to observe the ladies.

My last trip to a female strip club was with about 20 doctors, 1/3rd of which were female. One of the women bought me a lap dance.

I don't have any homophobia, and while a male strip club would do nothing for me, it would be amusing to see how the women reacted.

guy going to a guy strip joint with a bunch of girls... why not... i would be bussy checking out the horny ladies all around me to realize there are guys running around. besides it would be interesting to see how girls act in a place like that.

Is it 'Gosh, I really enjoy discussing recent television episodes of popular shows with you over the watercooler' or is more a 'Hey, if you're looking for a great sex shop that won't break the bank' kind of comraderie?

If you're comfortable enough, then go for it. You could always try to finagle some sort of 'drink for free' deal with one of the more insistent co-workers. At the very least, you'd feel better about spending the night in a smoky room with a bunch of glistening pretty boys.

If not, well, there are other things to do in Vegas. :)

I'm a guy and I wouldn't go with a co-worker or other wise. Makes me feel sleezy and I don't like that.

Co-workers or not, I will not go to a male strip club where plenty of dudes are swinging their schlongs around.

As a gal, I probably would not go to a sexually-oriented entertainment (stripper) club with co-workers, especially immediate group co-workers. I wouldn't want to put myself in a potentially sexually-charged environment with guys I'll be working with later...it's not professional, and while I understand this would be an out-of-office event, well, I already have to work hard enough to be taken seriously, being younger (than most of them, anyways), non-military, and female.

Now I have gone to a burly club in Vegas (Forty Deuce) with some co-workers, but they were more friends than co-workers--in fact, the only thing that was co-worker about them is that we are of the gigantic nameless hord. I never see them in a work situation, and I wouldn't see them at all if I didn't make an effort to during lunch or after hours. I wouldn't have a problem working closely with them and going to a burly, but mainly that's the friends thing. I would be extremely picky about going to any burly show even in that situation, and for the record, they do not know that I am a burly performer as well. It's just better that way.

What if there weren't plenty of them and you and your coworkers had them outnumbered?

I would LOVE to go to a strip club with some of my co-workers. Given the environment we work in (rehab for teens), it would be nice to really cut loose with some of them. Given that we don't have a strip club of any kind in our local area, it's more likely that I would go for a beer or something with some of them, and I would love to do that too.

Of course, I work with a bunch of crazy college kids, so there you go.

I would go to any kind of club with my coworkers just to see the reactions on their faces. I've been to a female strip club with a group of male friends before. It was actually kind of interesting to see what men did. While I was there, I had to use the washroom. When I went in, it turned out to actually be inside the stripper's dressing room. I got to see the strippers backstage and let me tell you, they did not look like a happy bunch. They actually looked somewhat bored. Not to mention looking almost nothing like they did on stage.

If I were very much single and thought I had a shot with one of the coworkers, I'd consider it. Otherwise, I doubt it. I'd give em some singles and tell them to go wild, but I'd be enjoying the wonderful fountains. I love the Vegas fountains.

I suppose if it meant being more accepted, I might bit the bullet and go see a few half naked ladies dance, and I might be able to put up with a lap dance if some of the guys were interested in that.
