God, what is wrong with my penis?

good day,

if you have read my previous threads you have read that I have had problems with injuring my penis, by tearing the peice of skin between the head of my penis and my foreskin. But now another, more painful problem has reared it's head. i have discovered, today, after a week and a half of ouchiness and no sex... :|, that I have long, painful cracks in the foreskin of my penis. I tried to moistorise it but it hurt like a bitch, I can't pull back my foreskin because it rips it open again leaving my penis disgusting and again sexless. I washed this morning to the point where I was in tears, which didn't take much

What should I do. Anyone else have this problem?

NoSoup 06-28-2006 09:01 AM

Eeek.

Wow, that practically brought tears to my own eyes, and I'm circumsized :D

I'd suggest heading to a doctor, ASAP.

Sorry I can't be of more help...

maleficent 06-28-2006 09:03 AM

oh you poor baby...

no soup's right... get your penis and your behind to a doctor -- pronto... that's really gotta go ouch..

ratbastid 06-28-2006 09:10 AM

Straight to the doctor with you.

Does you significant other use the Ring?????

I seem to have found that when I have intercourse with women who use the ring, my penis tends to develop dry skin itches cracks, regerdless of whether or not I wear a condom. I have found a good cream that eases the pain, itch and problem for the most part.

My ex and now the gracious and ever so beautiful Lady Sage both use the ring.

When I was doing my research for an earlier circumcision thread, I came across a description of what you were having as a not uncommon problem with non-circumcised men. The normal treatment was adult circumcision.

Of the men who had it a large majority reported a better sex life after and were happy with the procedure. I’m sure there is a non-surgical answer as well but like everyone said, see the doctor.

What??!? NO!?! I like my foreskin, it's unique, as in.. not many girls have seen one that isn't circumcisised. It's like owning a classic car, people you pass on the street have to take a look, and say:

"wow, that's pretty cool, you don't see those much any more..."

:)

If they are seeing it, it doesn't really matter at that point ;)

No no no!!! dont get circumsized... you dont need to...

I kind of had something similar happen to me when I first started having sex, I started to get those little cracks around the tip and inside of my foreskin, it was sore and hurt like hell, but basically it was just the skin stretching out (pretend they are stretch marks). So after a few days of being sore, I went at it again, and i got the same thing again. It will be like that for a while (maybe a month) until your skin stretches out, after that, your skin will loosen up and you will be fine.

At least thats what happened with me, you skin may not be as loose, or flexible as mine, and in that case it may be more severe. But I am almost 100% that this is the same case for you...

Good luck, and keep the foreskin!, believe me, A lot more girls love it more than you think.

If it's from a tight foreskin, you can stretch it out yourself over the period of a few weeks. Just make sure to pull it back all the way each day in the shower.

You might want to go back to the other recent foreskin thread and reread the statistics. :)

Dude, seriously, if anything like what had happened first to you.. I would have been straight down to the doctors.. skin tearing ANYWHERE near that area I would have imediatly checked, if not scaring could occur and it could even result in penile dysfunction later...

dlish 06-30-2006 02:57 AM

umm dont really have much to add except to go see a dr.. but just out of curiosity...

why are u asking god whats wrong with your penis?

thespian86 07-02-2006 06:06 PM

him and I are on good terms I think... you know, good enough to call him Jeff and tell him about my penis.

And it's just dry skin, nothing to go see a doctor about.

Also, when I tore it it was just small enough to fucking hurt, the second time bled a bit. I went to see a doctor who told me, quite scientifically, that my penis was large, and my girlfriend is small; "do the math ;)" Very doctory no?

But back to my OP, I guess what I was really asking was advice about dry skin on your penis. How to take care of it. It just happened to be on my foreskin... it really had nothing to do with my lack of circumcission

Sounds like you had more issues than dry skin in your op there cowboy. Some mens forskin gets so tight that it constantly rips and is painful.

As for the big peg small opening issue, that does have to do with circumcission as there is no skin there to tear if you are cicumcised.

I suppose its more fair your way though, at least when its too tight you can both suffer a bit instead of just the female.

Oh and Jeff says you owe him 2 dollars.

MySexyAssJ 07-02-2006 11:28 PM

if you can't make it to the doctors anytime soon.. I think neosporin would help. someone I know had a similar problem and neosporin did the trick.

JStrider 07-03-2006 08:01 AM

its my understanding that if you dont regularly work the foreskin back and forth over the head of the penis that it will lose some of its stretchiness and then you will have problems like your having now... I think you may have not moved it enough while it was healing from the previous injury.

I am circumsized, so this isn't from personal experience

im2smrt4u 07-03-2006 07:44 PM

It may sound a bit gross, but it sounds like you are the victim of a yeast infection. I had the same kind of symptoms and my g/f had a yeast infection. I think I got it from her before she even knew she had it.

I saw a doc and he prescribed athelete's foot creme.

thespian86 07-04-2006 11:09 AM

Well I actually considered that. That it may be an infection and I am still considering it may be just that. But it certainly isn't my gf's vagina that is the source. She has absolutely nothing wrong with her. But then, where did I get the infection. I'm pretty sexually inexpierenced beyond my SO, her the same, so where would this come from. I know we both had a bad reaction to a certain condom, we fixed that. Beyond that we have had problems with being raw and sore from too much sex, no care.

Whats going on then?

It's not dry and cracked anymore, but it is red and sore on the skin covering the head of my penis, about half an inch below the foreskin(probably from having sex yesterday. and not having it fully healed). Foreskin seems fine now except for it's lack of elasticity

raeanna74 07-04-2006 02:33 PM

This could be so many things. Jock itch (yeast infection) for which you can use antifungal sprays or creams. Clortrimazole is an anti-yeast-growth cream but does not actually kill the yeast. Lamisil actually kills the yeast. Both will be effective but the clortimazole will take longer. This is not entirely a sexualyl transmitted thing. If you have athetes foot, nail fungus or any other number of forms of yeast in a shower at the gym or on your body and you use a damp towel to dry off down there after a shower you could introduce the yeast to your penis.

It could be a bacterial infection which could result from sex or not. It can come from any sources and your girlfriend could harbor without having any symptoms of her own. btw - the sebacious glands under the forskin secret an oil that has antibacterial properties that can help get rid of this. Otherwise, neosporin ointment could help you get rid of this if this is the issue.

This could be from washing too much. If you pull back the forskin to wash underneath and you do not rinse thoroughly the soap could irritate or dry out the skin. Don't wash it too much as the oils that are secreted there could help protect you if you don't wash them off.

No matter what, For any irritations down there, a handy cream that is helpful for both males and females are Vagicain or Vagisil. Both of these have numbing agents, healing emolients and antiseptic properties. There may be a mild burning when you first apply it if you have a fungal infection but it will go away rapidly and will help heal the cracks in your skin.
