British Lords reject torture evidence...

This is more broad than the issue of using torture informatuion in court. This is a public condemnation of torture, and it seperates the UK from the US in the current 'secret prisons' and torture scandals. This is important because not a few years ago, they were more than willing to stand by the US through think and thin, no matter what.

I don't know how the British judicial system works, but this is not some great political message if their jobs are anything like the American counterpart. Torture is illegal, so why would it be admissable in court?
