Where is the center?
 

I live in a predominately Republican county in California and I tend to see things through a more right wing prism...I spend a lot of time working with and for a left leaning crowd in a nearby college town. (Their county went 67-31..Kerry) I frequently have spirited conversations about the issues of the day. A frequent refrain I hear from them that the media frames nearly every issue so far to the right that it makes their positions seem extreme when really they are the moderates.(Fox news is the Devil) And the position of the right is that the major media is obviously biased to the left. (CBS..New York Times, et al)

Sooo....with the election just held and the trends over the last few years where's the middle? :confused:

Say you found the Middle...You found the perfectly middle candidate how could you carve out a big enough piece of the electorate to get elected anywhere? Would you be equally hated by the far right and the far left? :hmm:
