Nice site to monitor election state by state
This is pretty cool.
It will be updated on an ongoing basis. You can even check the results going all the way back to 1948. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/shared/spl/h...ml/default.stm Mr Mephisto |

The Past Elections tab is especially interesting. For example, did you know an independent got just under 10,000,000 votes and the electoral college votes of four states in 1968? An independent?!
It's fun to hit the "Play" button and see how states have swung from Rep to Dem (or vice versa) over the past few years. I know some of you don't like BBC, but it generally does good stuff. Mr Mephisto |

The BBC site seems to either be slow in updating their information, or they're getting their information from a different source than C-SPAN:

They're getting their information from Associated Press.
"The AP are the sole organisation responsible for providing the results for the major American media networks. The information they provide will form the basis for election results but different broadcasters may decide to interpret partial results in different ways."
