Legality election question
Are state election officals able to 1) share voter registration information or 2) absentee voter registration? Also if they are allowed to share do they have to give it to both canidates?
Recently I applied for my absentee ballot (i just moved a month ago). No one really knows where I live except friends and family. The day after I recieved my absentee ballot I recieved an advertisement from one of the political parties of my state encuraging me to vote for a certain canidate. The other canidate didn't send anything (despite it being a very close race that is very important to the senate). I'm wondering if one party may be getting information through nafarious ways. Does anyone know the legality of this situation? |
