3rd Party Presidential Debates

I thought i would give everyone a chance to hear the voices of the third parties since the news usually doesn't cover them. Here's a link to a previous debate between the Libertarian and Green Party candidates.

The actual debate starts about 45 minutes in but listen to what id said before. Many points are raised to inform.

And also tonight there will be a live webcast of another debate at:
http://www.weos.org/live.html

It says 9pm but im not sure if that is eastern time or what.

Doh the other debate being webcast tonight is the (D) (R) one i think. There was another Libertarian/Green/Socialist/Constitution Party debate on the 6th, hopefully that will be online soon too for everyone to watch if they missed the live webcast.

This week, NOW with Bill Moyers had on the 4 major third-party presidential candidates: Badnarik, Cobb, Nader, and Peroutka. If you missed it, you might be able to catch it in a week or two in their video archives.

Democracy Now! had Ralph Nader on last Monday.

They also had 3 third-party Vice Presidential candidates last Thursday:

* Pat LaMarche, Green Party candidate for Vice President. For years, she has worked as a radio talk show host. She is a former Green Party candidate for governor of the state of Maine, where she became the first woman in the history of that state to gain ballot access for a political party through her candidacy. She just wrapped up a two week tour, where she lived in homeless shelters in various US cities.
* Peter Camejo, Ralph Nader's vice presidential candidate. He was the Green Party candidate for governor of California in 2003.
* Richard Campagna, the Libertarian Party's candidate for Vice President. He is a longtime university professor and an international businessman.

Thank you for these links. I am going to start voting third party as soon as Bush is removed from power. You dont hear much about third party canidates on the news if you dont have cable. I just hope that atleast one more party will become predominate in our nation soon.
