info on the new book about Bush and Environment
Has anyone read the new book on Bush destroying the Environment? I don't know who wrote it, but I've heard mention of it in the news, and I'm just wondering what your opinions, thoughts, are on the subject.
I personally already knew what he was doing (placing industry heads in charge of the environmental regulatory agencies they are against) This much I know to be a fact, but is this book anything more than (warrented) Anti-Bush propaganda, or should I read it? |

I haven't heard of it. Can you search for the title, or author.
Given the timing...I'd say that most of it is going to be highly slanted propoganda, spattered with enough fact to lend it credibility. Don't get me wrong. I'm very much against Bush, and what he has done/is doing to/for the environment. But I'd suggest reading it with a fairly open mind, and a huge humongous grain of salt.

Well the best theory I heard is the old story that God gave man domain over earth and animals, and then promised an Armaggeddon, and that these yahoo's believe it enough to figure that they can shit where they eat because it's all going to be burned up in the apocalypse when Judgement Day comes.
That's clearly unsubstantiated as far as I can tell, but it's the best guess I've heard to explain why... well you know, why they have shit for policies and let energy companies sit in on environmental policy meetings. That sort of thing. |

I did a bit of research and all of the statements I have found against the book say nothing except that it is full of lies, no examples given. This seems rather promising, being that they can't find a specific example of why its so full of shit, other than that it makes them mad. I will definitly be reading this book, I'll try and get a author and such posted tomorrow after I sleep.
