Back on topic, when do the Repu... Swift Boat Veterans for Truth trot out John Kerry's illegitimate vietnamese children whom he has declined to support even though their vietnamese hooker mothers, who were pre-teens at the time, have begged him in letters over the years to please help them?

We're waiting.

I guarantee you that any viable missile attack on American will be successful. First the system still doesn't work. But Bush started installing it anyway (even though he promised not to until it was ready). The 9/11 panel seems to think, after spending a damned long time studying it, that a new Intelligence Director is a good idea. So does Kerry and Bush. The difference is Kerry wants to actually make him a boss, while Bush just wants him to be... there.

As with anything the missile defense shield takes time to evolve. Just because it isn't good now does not mean it won't be good in 5 years.

The war on drugs and illegal immigration have virtually proven that complete port and border security is impossible.

As far as the 9/11 commission, I will stick to what I know about internal politics of corporations and the government rather than what a group of former and current politicians think thank you. The new director (at whatever level) is in for some serious turf wars, incomplete information, and obstructionist attitudes/actions. This will not lend itself to improved intelligence in the short term. These recommendations are geared to the long term success of our nation's intelligence facilities. Now, in a time of war, is not the time to stir the pot.

Alright, if you wanna go that route, when will Kerry be charged with the war crimes he admitted to in testimony before Congress?

Speaking of missle defense, why would any "rogue state" bother to launch a missle? Our ports are so porous that it might make a whole lot more sense to just sail a nuke into washington state. In fact, if we are indeed finding ourselves threatened mostly by terrorists i wonder how these cellular unlawful combatants will even be able to come up with the resources to purchase even one icbm.
