Torture isolated....to the BBC
Aparently, CNN got off without a scratch.
In two seperate Bases , BBC reporters are subjected to abuses similar to Iraqi "terrorists". But still, this cannot be the general rule.....can it? http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3726675.stm

Click your heels together three times and repeat after me:
"Those soldiers acted alone." (click click click) "Those soldiers acted alone." (click click click) "Those soldiers acted alone." (click click click) But seriously, abuse of the press is a new twist to this. I think this seems more like a few soldiers acting like jerks, though, not any organized attempt from the top-down to control the press. While regrettable, I think these incidents pale in comparison to what appears to be organized assembly-line torture in the prisons. |
