I think they should rot in jail
The U.K Govt has really pissed me off. Why let the prisoners from the afghan campaign return to the U.K.
The decided to fight for a arab state their for they have forgone their rights as U.K citizens. There was no such easy ride for U.K citz that were fighting in Croatia. You fight for a foreign power you are its citizen, you have no rights in the country you left. WEHy are we such soft touches, this almost set a president - fight your own coutnries army, but if you get caught all will be forgiven. They should be held in a afghan prison, not a U.K tax payers money here. God winds me up. This is not about religous beliefs I belive in freedom for everyone, I am talking about fighting for a foreign power against your fellow citzens. I hope th US is not so soft, we will see.

1, if they are guilty of war crimes, then try them in court, allow them legal representation, and if they are found guilty they can be punished.
2, if they are prisoners of war, then they must be treated as such, in complete accordance with the Geneva convention. 3, If they have committed crimes in Afghanistan, then let them face the justice of the Afghan state, as long as they do not claim asylum from this due to an expectation of torture. The fact that British citizens were imprisoned illegally by America, without charge or human rights, was an act of war, and we should have certainly been threatening America with sanctions and the withdrawal of diplomatic relations. Luckily, most people in the UK are not as willing to abandon the rule of law as aphex, and we at least do not wish to live in a police state where the government can inprison people without trial and allowing them no human rights (although the internment act, used in N Ireland in the 70's was pretty close) I'm with Castro "this island shall sink into the sea before its inhabitants consent to be slaves"
