Bush & Powell are distant relatives!?
Yeah, I didn't believe it either, but the source is pretty legit. Check it out...

socialites in the past century all made ties to the Knickerbocker Family. The problem with that was the Knickerbocker family was an author's creation like Sherlock Holmes and people thought of them as living entities.

I saw that, and guessed it was Prince Charles. If you went back to the 1300's, I bet alot of people are related. I remenber something similar being done about how Reagan was somehow related to Queen Elizabeth just after he was out of office and given an honorary knighthood.
(Trying to refrain from making a tacky comment about Clinton's family tree not branching out too much because he is from Arkansas.) |

That's strange. Surely MSNBC wouldn't put something that wierd on there and not say it was a joke if it was. It smells funny to me.

You know, I have seen articles that have said Bush and Clinton are related, Clinton and Powell are related and that Powell is an ancestor of Thomas Jefferson. I really don't know what to think.
P.S. Howard Dean's Grandmother was in George W. Bush's grandmother's wedding.
