21, not too surprising.
Took the exact same test about 3 years ago and got somewhere in the low to mid 30's. Interesting to see how ones views can change over such a short period of time. |
31, around Jack Kemp, and that's about right. I'm a bit more libertarian (but anti-abortion) than most Republicans, and more conservative than most Democrats.
|
I got a 17, between Clinton and Powell. That's a good place to be as far as I'm concerned.
I expected my score to be moderate, and it was. I consider myself socially liberal and fiscally conservative. Allegedly that makes me a Libertarian, but I think they're a bit too extremist for me. |

But like most political tests, fairly incomplete. |
23 here.
About where I expected, but some of those questions were lame, especially the Reagan vs FDR question. |

My girlfriend got an 8 though (Damn me and my conservative, melting pot desires!) |
10 -- no big surprise as I'm one of "those" who really does like Hillary's politics.
|
It'll be nice one of these days if we aren't seperated into "the Left" and "the Right" and just be happy to be "Americans" and learn to live together without surpressing each other's rights and trying to force each sides morals and dogma onto the other.
|
I'm 17, I'm between Clinton and Powell... oh crap. I think I made Monica jealous
|
Well I turned out to be 17 ---->more conservative than Clinton?
|
34 Baby!!!!! Just short of good ole Bob Dole. I agree some of the questions were ridiculous but I think it popped out a pretty accurate rating despite itself.
|
I rocked the 26.
Did they use Ted Kennedy's score on this quiz or put his breathalizer reading under his picture? |

32, one point higher than Ustwo and I'm for national healthcare, go figure.
|
25...about right...
|
11
Between the Clintons. Wonder who I'm gonna vote for in '08? |
haha, i retook this test and got an 11...seems i'm getting more conservative in my old age!
|
A perfect 20....Hell, I even Look like Powell...uh...from the side....in the dark....when he was younger
|
15 but you have to take it with a grain of salt, being not american and all. Questions like this "9. Whose political views do you consider more extreme, those of (former) Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders or the Rev. Pat Robertson?" I answered "who the fuck are they?"
|
20 for me, right in the middle.
|
I got a 15, which makes me a Bill Clinton ( I gave up playing with girls and cigars). I am a liberal in the US but a conservative in Canada!
|
This Poll represents everything I despise about political dialogue. All of the questions are presented with a false assumption about the answers. For example they are either this -or- that. It's all presented in some false dichotomy.
From the very first question this test presents you with these poor choices: Quote:

Both organizations have completely different functions. Would I trust the Pentagon to deliver mail or the Post Office to plan a war? The question as it stands is meaningless. Nevertheless I "get" the implication -that "hippies" don't like the pentagon or that "rednecks" object to the unfair market dominence of the postal service. ... Quote:
ETC. |
meh, 12. seems like i'm in good company
|
I refused to answer a few of the questions because the phrasing of the question was too misleading, or appeared to possibly oppose each other.
Scored a 13, a little more liberal than I personally believe that I am, but I think the score may have been different if I answered every question. |
Scored a 10, about where I would expect. I did not notice that the quiz was from 1994 until after the fact, though that matters little.
