I don't think the game should be taken off the market... I was watching CNN the other day and they had this black commentator come on. He basically thought that the rap culture is what inspired this and that if the game was made by a black person instead of an asian guy it'd be perfectly fine, and probably be successful.

HAH! I never knew that! It also brought to mind an old SNL skit with Richard Pryor and some white cast member doing some experiment where they say offensive slurs at each other. The cast member gets up to "spade" and Pryor responds "honky!" Then the cast member says "nigger" and Pryor's eyes get huge and his voice cracks as he exclaims "honky HONKY!"

yeah, that sketch was with Chevy Chase. The exact exchange was as follows:

Chase: "Colored."
Pryor: "Redneck."

Chase: "Jungle bunny."
Pryor: "Peckerwood."

Chase: "Burrhead."
Pryor: "Cracker."

Chase: "Spear-chucker."
Pryor: "White trash."

Chase: "Jungle bunny."
Pryor: "Honky."

Chase: "Spade."
Pryor: "Honky-honky."
