Huffington Withdraws
In case you didn't know, Huffington has withdrawn from the California elections and says she will put forth all her efforts to fight against the recall that she once took part in. What kind of hypocrisy is this? Could it possibly be simply because her numbers were in the single digits and she will do anything to prevent Arnold from being elected? Obviously her concern is not with the state of California. It is people like her who make politics a joke. Her apparent hypocrisy and personal vendettas have most likely closed the door for her in the political arena and have opened the door for her future role in T3.

This is the way politics goes. After a candidate withdraws from a primary, he or she will often throw all her support behind a candidate that he or she was heaping abuse upon as recently as a few days before. Every politician does this because the average person doesn't pay particularly close attention to anything except the main election, and generally only the presidential election at that. |
haha. You got me. I'm an idiot and all those things. T4. Right...
|
she must've known that she had a 0 to nil chance of winning. she wanted publicity and she got lots of it.
|
What I'd like to know is why in the world that lunatic considers herself a Republican.
Compared to her, Bill Clinton is like Pat Buchanan. |
I thought she was an "independent" Bush basher.

It sickens me that they even allowed her to debate. Gary Coleman would have been a more interesting choice than a babbling idiot Arnold basher.

If I recall correctly the most recent polls, even throwing in "all her support" behind Bustamente isn't all that much help.
Looks like California better get ready for the Governator. |
It's still very much up in the air.
Unless McClintock pulls out, I think Bustamante will get the win. McClintock is throwing his political career away by not supporting Arnold. Personally, I think McClintock would do much better as a replacement for Boxer in the senate than as governor. But if he ends up being the spoiler that gets Bustamante elected, it'll be a cold day in hell before he gets support from anybody outside of his district for any future endevors. |
I think the fact that Bustamante is telling people to vote against the recall is going to hurt him, alot of votes will get lost and so long as the recall gets passed I think Arnold has it in the bag.
|
I'm not that optimistic.
And Bustamante is talking out of both sides of his mouth about the recall. He obviously wants it to happen and for him to win. There have been several occasions where he has said vote for me and not mentioned "no on the recall" at all. |
If California votes for a racist seperatist, then it deserves what it gets.
|
I'll be the first to sign the recall ballot for Arnold; they don't even need a rich Democrat to fund it.
|
Likewise, I went out of my way to find a place to sign the recall against Davis.
|
Nizzle, are you saying you want to recall Arnold?

It amazes me how anyone can vote for this cat. He's part of the reason why California is in this mess. |
