Propaganda makes me ill

I float somewhere between liberal and libertarian, but I really hate the way people are effected by emotion driven spew. Propaganda is always made with as little information in it as possible, and never appeals to logic.

Despite agreeing with most of the opinions in those flash movies, seeing it presented that way still bothers me.

oh and its not a joke. While they contain humor they only do so to make the propaganda more effective.

On the other hand the republicans do plenty of the same (just usually not in flash) and there is no more effective weapon in the conflict of politics.

I agree with giblfiz on the fact that is mainly just illogical propaganda. Especially the "I HATE REPUBLICANS" flash video. I wasn't offended, because everyone has a right to choose their own opinion in this country, I was disturbed however. It reminded me of the old USSR and Marxist propaganda that they used to put out. You know "concetration of wealth" "comrades rise against them" etc. etc. To me that's just going a little too far, I don't like to equate all democrats with Lenin and Stalin and communists, because it's not true, it's stereotypical, but whoever did that particular flash video did it in poor taste and has very Marxist tendencies. He's entitled to his opinion but putting the images of republicans and nazis in the same frame is not fair at all, that's saying that all republicans hate jews and blacks and anyone different from them and want to wipe out all of their enemies in one fell swoop of genocide. It's not true, I consider myself a republican and I harbor no hate towards anyone. Maybe I disagree with your lifestyle, but you can be an incredible person too, I am from the school of hate the sin, not the sinner. (Oops I made a religious reference this guy will hate me, oh mon dieu, whoopsie, did it again). I mean, I know this guy is trying to be humorous and get his point across at the same time, that there is corruption within the Republican party (like there isn't any within the Democratic party) I'm just tryin to put in perspective what this guy is saying is almost as bad as that idiot Savage, extreme sides of anything disgust me, right wing or left wing, yet they are entitled to their opinion, let them continue by all means.
