Join the Word Train
Over at the NYTimes website today, they have an interactive feature up for Election Day asking: What one word describes your state of mind?
ELECTION DAY 08 - What One Word Describes Your Current State of Mind? - Interactive Feature - NYTimes.com Take a look, pick a word, and let us know here at the TFP what you chose. The most popular words chosen by respondents show up on the train at NYTimes.com, but I want to know some of the other words people might choose to describe how they feel today. I've posted to the Word Train a couple of times today. I am anxious and impatient, which are two of the words that have shown up. I am also very edgy, which hasn't, though I did post it. It's kind of neat to watch all of the words slide on by. |
the difference between Obama and McCain supporters is staggering. Obama's words are hopeful, excited, anxious, cheerful. McCain has- apprehensive, angry, ashamed, defeated, betrayed etc..
interesting indeed. |
Wow, I couldn't keep looking at the McCain ones- they are really depressing to see! Why can't those people take a step back and see how they're feeling and why? They are filled with so much negativity! It's like they know McCain will not win.

That is a really cool piece of electronic political art. Thanks for the link! My first was apprehensive. No matter who wins, I'm worried, but I'm also worried about who will win.

Living in Canada, I am so EXCITED!!! I lived in Ohio for a few years and I am still interested in the goings and doings of the US. The next four years are going to be something else!

I am excited because I am hosting a party so we will be a group together no matter who wins.
I love some of the interactive features sites are coming out with this election. This one is so cool. |
